Mahomes (illness) is active for Sunday's Week 8 clash against the Broncos, as expected.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier Sunday that the star signal-caller had fallen ill Saturday and had even been placed on an IV during the day, adding Mahomes had woken up feeling much better Sunday and was still fully expected to play. Mahomes' active status is now official, meaning fantasy managers should proceed with including him in lineups without concern. However, it's worth noting the Chiefs-Broncos game will be played in significant inclement weather, including periods of heavy snow. Consequently, even if Mahomes has improved as much as reported, the field conditions may certainly not be conducive to one of his more fantasy-friendly performances. If Mahomes were to have an in-game setback Sunday, veteran Blaine Gabbert would be set to handle Kansas City's offense.

Taylor won't return to Sunday's game versus the Jets due to a rib injury.

Taylor was in clear discomfort after getting tackled while running to his left in the second quarter and seemed to be favoring his right wrist after the play. After heading to the locker room, though, he's been diagnosed with a different health concern and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation, ending Week 8 action with eight yards on 4-for-7 passing and five carries for 33 yards. With Daniel Jones (neck) inactive again, the Giants will entrust the offense to undrafted rookie quarterback Tommy DeVito for the rest of Sunday.

Taylor suffered an apparent right wrist injury during Sunday's game against the Jets, Ralph Vacchiano of Fox Sports reports.

In the middle of the second quarter, the ball slipped out of Taylor's hand as he attempted to throw while running to his left. He caught it and continued to run, but he landed awkwardly on his right wrist as he was tackled and eventually went to the locker room. With Daniel Jones (neck) still sidelined, the Giants may be down to undrafted rookie Tommy DeVito at quarterback for the rest of Week 8.

Mayfield has been tending to a left knee contusion, but he plans to play through the injury in the Buccaneers' next game Nov. 5 versus the Texans in Week 9, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.

The knee issue has presented some discomfort for Mayfield, but it didn't stop him from starting on a short week and completing 25 of 42 pass attempts for 237 yards and two touchdowns while adding 19 yards on three carries this past Thursday in the Buccaneers' 24-18 loss to the Bills. The Buccaneers still elected to send Mayfield in for an MRI, but with those tests revealing nothing concerning, the veteran signal-caller doesn't appear in danger of missing any time. With 10 days between their Week 8 and Week 9 game, the Buccaneers are hopeful the mini-bye week will allow Mayfield to heal up a bit and head into the matchup with Houston in better condition than he had been against the Bills.

Mahomes was nauseous and dehydrated Saturday and was on an IV on Saturday night, but he woke up Sunday feeling better, Jay Glazer reported on Fox NFL Sunday.

Mahomes is still fully expected to start Sunday against the Broncos while playing in inclement weather in Denver. It's noteworthy that teams seem to be doing a better job of reporting illnesses this weekend after what happened with the Falcons' Bijan Robinson in Week 7.

Woodside (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Titans, but he'll dress and serve as the Falcons' emergency quarterback, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.

Woodside has held this role in each of the Falcons' games thus far. He won't count against the 53-man roster but will be available if Desmond Ridder and Taylor Heinicke are forced out of the game.

Mahomes is dealing with an illness but won't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Broncos.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Mahomes is battling the flu. Given that Mahomes didn't appear on the Chiefs' Week 8 injury report, he most likely picked up the illness at some point after Friday's practice, though Rapoport notes that the signal-caller is feeling better Sunday than he did Saturday. The Chiefs didn't sign another quarterback to the 53-man roster or elevate one from the practice squad, so Mahomes remains on track to start the Week 8 contest while Blaine Gabbert fills his usual backup role. Fantasy managers in season-long leagues can still probably feel comfortable including Mahomes in lineups even if he's less than 100 percent healthy, but the two-time league MVP may be less appealing of an option in DFS contests.

Hill (chest) is active for Sunday's game in Indianapolis, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

After a week in which he donned a non-contact jersey on the practice field, Hill will attempt to play through the chest injury that's impacting him at the moment as expected, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. With the Saints' top tight end Juwan Johnson (calf) back in action for the first time since Week 3, Hill may be relegated to the snap share (13-to-41 percent) that he earned in the first three games of the campaign, when he turned 16 carries into 91 yards, hauled in two of four targets for eight yards and completed his only pass for eight yards.

Lawrence (knee) is active Week 8 against the Steelers.

Lawrence entered the week officially listed as questionable after logging limited practice sessions each day, but the expectation leading up to Sunday was that he'd once again suit up. Although his knee issue is said to have improved, Lawrence will once again play while sporting a protective brace. He was productive in Week 7 on Thursday Night Football despite not playing at 100 percent, completing 69 percent of his passes and throwing for a touchdown in the win over New Orleans. This week, he'll face a Pittsburgh defense that is allowing the eighth-fewest passing yards per game (192.2).

Levis is expected to be the Titans' starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Falcons and take most of the snaps behind center, despite head coach Mike Vrabel having not named a Week 8 starter while noting that both Levis and Malik Willis will play in the absence of Ryan Tannehill (ankle), Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

After suffering a right high-ankle sprain in the Titans' Week 6 loss to the Ravens, Tannehill didn't practice in any fashion coming out of the team's Week 7 bye and could be in danger of missing two straight games, given that the Titans are set to travel to Pittsburgh for a Thursday night game Week 9. Rapoport initially reported Wednesday that the Titans had been preparing for Levis to start Week 8 in anticipation of Tannehill not being available, and it appears little has changed on that front during the team's week of practice, even though Vrabel hasn't confirmed Tennessee's plans at quarterback. While Willis' superior rushing ability could prompt the Titans to hand him a few packages or even have him lead the offense for multiple drives, Levis looks like he'll get the bulk of the snaps Sunday in what will be his NFL debut. The rookie second-round pick out of Kentucky doesn't make for an inspiring fantasy option this week, given the prospect of him losing snaps to Willis along with the run-heavy tendencies of the Tennessee offense.
