Al-Shaair made eight tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 36-31 loss to the Bills.

The starting middle linebacker and signal caller played all 56 of the Texans' defensive snaps in Sunday's contest. Al-Shaair was unable to get his hands on any passes or assist in bringing down Josh Allen in the game as the team gave up its highest point total since Dec. 24, 2023, against the Browns (36-22).

Cross logged eight tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Eagles.

Cross played 98 percent of the Commanders' defensive snaps in the contest and was on the field for 54 plays. The starting strong safety did not play a single special-teams snap in the game and was purely a defender.

Walker finished with six tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 27-13 win over Miami.

The Raiders defense had it going versus Miami, surrendering 259 total yards while adding 5.0 sacks, tied for the highest in the NFL in Week 1. While Walker wasn't responsible for a sack Sunday, he contributed in other ways, recovering a fumble late in the fourth quarter during the Dolphins' final drive to seal the win for Las Vegas. Walker, the 2022 No. 22 overall pick, began his career with the Packers, appearing in 58 regular-season games and amassing 469 total tackles, 9.0 sacks and one interception. He agreed to a four-year deal with the Raiders in March 2026.

Franklin recorded four total tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 39-22 loss to Minnesota.

Franklin didn't have the most impressive regular-season debut with Green Bay, but he was on the field for all 64 of the team's defensive snaps in Week 1. The linebacker registered at least 125 total tackles in each of his last four seasons with the Colts prior to being traded to the Packers in March, and he will likely be busier moving forward this year.

Baker recorded five tackles (four solo), including 0.5 sacks, during the Cardinals' 26-14 win over the Chargers on Sunday.

Baker and linebacker Jack Gibbens combined for an eight-yard sack on Justin Herbert late in the fourth quarter, setting back any dim hopes the Chargers had of making a late comeback. The combined sack matched Baker's total from last season, and he was one of three Cardinals to play all 55 defensive snaps in Sunday's win. The veteran safety has six 100-plus tackle campaigns under his belt, but he'll need more production in the box score in order to make it seven seasons reaching that milestone.

Styles made four tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Eagles.

Styles played 48 defensive snaps and nine special-teams snaps in Sunday's loss. The linebacker did a little bit of everything in the contest by pass rushing, run stuffing, playing in coverage and working with the special teams unit. The highlight of the first-round rookie's day was bull-rushing star running back Saquon Barkley to get to Jalen Hurts for a first-down sack in the third quarter.

Henley posted eight tackles (two solo), including 0.5 sacks, during the Chargers' 26-14 loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Henley's 67 defensive snaps and eight tackles were both second-most on the Chargers behind Derwin James (75 snaps, 10 tackles). Henley combined with Troy Dye to sack Jacoby Brissett on third down midway through the fourth quarter, forcing the Cardinals to punt on the next play. Henley reached the tackling century mark in both 2024 and 2025, and is well on pace to do so again this year.

Edwards played all 68 defensive snaps for the Bears, logging one tackle, in Sunday's 59-37 win over the Panthers.

Edwards played every defensive snap of the 13 total defensive drives the Bears were subjected to. Despite the starting middle linebacker never leaving the field, he only logged one tackle in the effort. Edwards will likely need a more impactful performance in the Bears' Week 2 game against the Vikings for the squad to hold the divisional rival to fewer scores.

Edmunds compiled eight total tackles (seven solo) in Sunday night's 28-20 win over Dallas.

Edmunds inked a three-year deal with the Giants in March, and he has opened the season as one of the team's starting inside linebackers along with rookie Arvell Reese. The 28-year-old has reached at least 102 total tackles in each of his first eight NFL campaigns, and he will likely remain busy throughout the 2026 season with New York.

Bush made six tackles (two solo) and recovered one fumble in Sunday's 59-37 win over the Panthers.

Bush played 65 defensive snaps in the contest, good for 96 percent of the Bears' total defensive plays overall. The linebacker's fumble recovery at the beginning of the fourth quarter came off a Tetairoa McMillan error while the game was 45-31. Bush performed consistently throughout the team's 13 defensive drives.
