Sheldon Dries C | DET
Red Wings' Sheldon Dries: Claims three points in win
Dries scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Grand Rapids' 6-3 win over Texas on Wednesday.
Dries posted his second multi-point effort of the season. He's up to five goals, 13 points, 30 shots on net and a plus-8 rating over 13 appearances. Dries last played in the NHL in 2022-23, but he could be a veteran call-up option for a bottom-six spot if the Red Wings need forward depth later in the year.

Skyler Brind'Amour C | CAR
Hurricanes' Skyler Brind'Amour: Two of each in AHL win
Brind'Amour scored twice and added two assists in AHL Chicago's 8-4 win over Rockford on Wednesday.
Brind'Amour nearly doubled his output for the season with this four-point game. He's at five goals, four assists, 29 shots on net and a minus-5 rating over 17 appearances. The 26-year-old is on pace to surpass his 24-point performance from 68 regular-season games a year ago, but he's unlikely to be near the top of the list for the Hurricanes whenever they need a forward call-up.

Dominic Toninato C | CHI
Blackhawks' Dominic Toninato: Trio of helpers Wednesday
Toninato notched three assists in AHL Rockford's 8-4 loss to Chicago on Wednesday.
The effort put Toninato at five goals and 10 helpers through 20 outings this season. He's on pace to top his career-high 36 points from 60 regular-season outings with AHL Manitoba last year. The 31-year-old Toninato has some NHL experience as well, but the Blackhawks probably would turn to younger players first.

Conor Geekie C | TB
Lightning's Conor Geekie: Racks up three points Wednesday
Geekie scored twice and added an assist in AHL Syracuse's 5-3 win over Utica on Wednesday.
Geekie has gotten on the scoresheet in 11 of his 14 AHL outings this season, including four multi-point efforts. He's up to five goals and 11 assists after his first multi-goal game of the year. He made the Lightning's Opening Night roster but didn't stick, posting one assist in six NHL contests, but he's played well enough for Syracuse to be in the mix for a call-up later in the campaign.

Patrick Brown C | BOS
Bruins' Patrick Brown: Three-point effort in AHL win
Brown scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Providence's 5-1 win over Toronto on Wednesday.
Brown picked up his first multi-point effort in his last five games. He has seven multi-point performances this season, though this was his first three-pointer. The veteran forward is at eight goals, 12 assists and a plus-11 rating in 17 appearances and could be an option for Boston's fourth line later in the season.

Georgii Merkulov C | BOS
Bruins' Georgi Merkulov: Earns three points in AHL win
Merkulov scored a goal and added two assists in AHL Providence's 5-1 win over Toronto on Wednesday.
Merkulov's big performance ended a brutal dry spell in which he had just one assist over nine games. Despite that slump, he has six goals and 14 points through 17 appearances on the year. Merkulov is capable of putting up 50 points per year, as he's done in each of his three full AHL campaigns, and that scoring touch could help the 25-year-old get a call-up at some point.

Nico Hischier C | NJ
Devils' Nico Hischier: Multi-point game streak at three
Hischier scored a power-play goal, recorded two assists and placed four shots on goal in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Blues.
Hischier netted the game-tying goal on a power play midway through the second period before sliding the primary assist on Simon Nemec's game-winner in overtime. Hischier also had the primary helper on Timo Meier's goal in the first frame. Overall, Hischier has eight goals, 13 assists and 53 shots on net through 23 games this season. After a bumpy start offensively, the 26-year-old center is on fire with eight points in his last three games. He has played at an elite level with a high volume of minutes in the absence of Jack Hughes (finger). Hischier should absorb many of the top-line playmaking responsibilities for the foreseeable future. He is well above the pace needed to reach the 60-point mark for a fifth consecutive season, making him a strong option in all fantasy formats.

Mikael Granlund C | ANA
Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Goes on injured reserve
Granlund (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.
Granlund hasn't resumed skating after aggravating his previous lower-body injury. He will miss his sixth straight game and his 14th contest in the Ducks' last 15. The 33-year-old won't have a clear timeline to return until he gets back on the ice.

Michael Rasmussen C | DET
Red Wings' Michael Rasmussen: Lands on injured reserve
Rasmussen (undisclosed) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, retroactive to Nov. 20.
Elmer Soderblom (undisclosed) was activated from IR in a corresponding move. The 26-year-old Rasmussen has clearly been dealing with the injury for a while, but it went unreported. He is eligible to return as soon as Friday's game versus the Lightning, but there is no timeline for his return yet.

J.T. Miller C | NYR
Rangers' J.T. Miller: Slated to play
Miller (upper body) is expected to be in the lineup versus the Hurricanes on Wednesday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.
Miller has missed two games with the injury. He is poised to return to a second-line role and should also feature on the power play. Conor Sheary will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Miller's return.
