Ryan Shea D | PIT
Penguins' Ryan Shea: Re-ups with Pittsburgh
Shea signed a one-year, $900,000 contract extension with the Penguins on Friday.
Shea had a rough start to the campaign, but his play has really come around in recent weeks. He has three points over six contests since play resumed after the 4 Nations Face-Off, and he's moved up into a top-four role. Shea still doesn't have a lot of fantasy value, but he has secured his spot with the Penguins through the 2025-26 campaign.

Dougie Hamilton D | NJ
Devils' Dougie Hamilton: Out indefinitely
Hamilton (lower body) will miss an extended period of time, James Nichols of New Jersey Hockey Now reports Friday.
Hamilton sustained the injury during Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Dallas. He has nine goals and 40 points in 63 appearances in 2024-25. Luke Hughes is likely to serve on the first power-play unit while Hamilton is absent.

Victor Mancini D | VAN
Canucks' Victor Mancini: Paper move to AHL
Mancini was sent down to AHL Abbotsford to retain AHL playoff eligibility Friday.
Mancini quickly returned to the NHL roster, per the NHL media site, and he may be in the lineup Friday versus the Wild. If the Canucks miss the postseason, Mancini could see more playing time with the minor-league club, which is contending for a spot in the AHL playoffs.

Jonas Siegenthaler D | NJ
Devils' Jonas Siegenthaler: Done for regular season
Siegenthaler (lower body) won't play before the end of the regular season, per James Nichols of New Jersey Hockey Now.
Siegenthaler hasn't been in the lineup since Feb. 4 due to the injury. He'll complete 2024-25 with two goals, nine points, 44 PIM, 75 hits and 92 blocks over 55 appearances. It's not clear if there's any hope of Siegenthaler playing in the postseason should the Devils make it that far.

Daniil Misyul D | NJ
Bruins' Daniil Misyul: Swaps AHL teams
Misyul was traded to Boston from New Jersey on Friday in exchange for Marc McLaughlin.
Misyul has eight assists and 33 PIM in 47 appearances with AHL Utica in 2024-25. The 24-year-old has appeared in just one career NHL game and will probably start his tenure in the Bruins' organization as a member of AHL Providence.

Conor Timmins D | BUF
Penguins' Conor Timmins: Heading to Steel City
Timmins and Connor Dewar were traded to the Penguins from the Maple Leafs on Friday in exchange for a 2025 fifth-round draft pick, Matt Vensel of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Timmins will be the latest blueliner to get a look on the Penguins' third pairing. The 26-year-old was limited to eight points in 51 outings, but he picked up 24 points over 52 contests across the previous two seasons, spending the bulk of that time with the Maple Leafs. He's also seen power-play time previously in his career, but that's unlikely in Pittsburgh while both Kris Letang and Erik Karlsson are around.

Brandon Carlo D | TOR
Maple Leafs' Brandon Carlo: Heading to Toronto
Carlo was acquired by Toronto from Boston on Friday in exchange for Fraser Minten, a conditional 2026 first-round pick and a 2025 fourth-round pick, per NHL.com.
Carlo has a goal, nine points, 24 PIM, 64 hits and 119 blocks in 63 appearances with Boston in 2024-25. Although he doesn't contribute much offensively, Carlo should help the Maple Leafs out in their own end. He'll likely serve on the second or third pairing as a shutdown defenseman.

Henri Jokiharju D | BOS
Bruins' Henri Jokiharju: Traded Friday
Jokiharju was acquired by Boston from Buffalo on Friday in exchange for a 2026 fourth-round pick.
Jokiharju has three goals, six points, 35 hits and 31 blocks in 42 appearances with Buffalo in 2024-25. Boston is missing Hampus Lindholm (kneecap) and Charlie McAvoy (shoulder) due to injury, and it's believed that Boston will soon trade Brandon Carlo to Toronto, so Jokiharju should get regular playing time for the rest of the season.
-
Emil Andrae D | PHI
Flyers' Emil Andrae: Up from AHL
Andrae was summoned from AHL Lehigh Valley on Friday.
Andrae has a goal and six points in 24 outings with Philadelphia this season. He also has three goals and 16 points in 25 appearances with Lehigh Valley.

The 23-year-old has made 20 appearances for the Sharks this year, logging a goal, five assists, 26 blocked shots and 17 hits while averaging 16:18 of ice time.
