  • Nicky Lopez 3B | CHC

Royals' Nicky Lopez: Perfect at plate Sunday

Lopez went 4-for-4 with an RBI in Sunday's 7-4 win over the Tigers.

Unsurprisingly, the light-hitting infielder contributed four singles Sunday, including one that knocked in Edward Olivares for an insurance run in the ninth inning. Lopez has hit well over his last 14 games, going 14-for-43 (.326) in that span. He's up to a .232/.295/.281 slash line for the season, and he's added seven RBI, 24 runs scored and five stolen bases. While he's maintained a strong-side platoon role at third base lately, Lopez is almost exclusively hitting at the bottom of the order and adds almost nothing in the power categories.

  • Jack Mayfield 2B | LAA

Angels' Jack Mayfield: Designated for assignment

Mayfield was designated for assignment by the Angels on Sunday.

Mayfield was sent down by the Angels on June 19, and he'll lose his spot on the 40-man roster after the team traded for Touki Toussaint on Sunday. Over 24 Triple-A appearances this year, Mayfield has slashed .200/.255/.340 with two homers, 14 RBI, 11 runs and two stolen bases.

  • Ha-seong Kim SS | ATL

Padres' Ha-Seong Kim: Swats two-run homer

Kim went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Dodgers.

Kim was on his way to a fifth hitless game in his last eight before going yard off Yency Almonte during the Padres' ninth-inning rally. The homer was Kim's first since May 13, a span of 45 contests without a long ball. He batted .232 in June, which is right in line with his .228/.316/.352 slash line for the season. The 26-year-old has added five homers, 27 RBI, 30 runs scored, four stolen bases, 12 doubles and two triples in 285 plate appearances.

  • Elvis Andrus 2B | ARI

Athletics' Elvis Andrus: Delivers lone run in loss

Andrus went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's 2-1 loss to the Mariners.

Andrus generated the Athletics' lone run against Robbie Ray with a seventh-inning solo shot. The Oakland offense fared no better against relievers Andres Munoz and Paul Sewald in the low-scoring loss. This was Andrus' sixth straight game with a hit and his second homer in the last three. The veteran shortstop is up to five long balls, 18 RBI, 28 runs scored and four stolen bases while slashing .232/.297/.366 in 74 contests this year.

  • Sam Haggerty LF | TEX

Mariners' Sam Haggerty: Heads to bench Sunday

Haggerty is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Athletics.

Haggerty will take a seat after going 4-for-12 with two doubles, two runs, a stolen base and an RBI while starting in each of the Mariners' previous four games. Though Justin Upton is getting the nod in right field for the series finale, Haggerty may continue to serve as Seattle's primary option at the position until the team gets one of Kyle Lewis (concussion) or Taylor Trammell (hamstring) back from the injured list.

  • Tony Kemp 2B | MIN

Athletics' Tony Kemp: Sitting against lefty

Kemp is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Mariners.

With southpaw Robbie Ray on the mound for Seattle, the lefty-hitting Kemp will retreat to the bench for the series finale. Chad Pinder will replace Kemp in left field and will bat sixth.

  • Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL

Giants' Thairo Estrada: Goes on COVID-19 IL

The Giants placed Estrada (illness) on the COVID-19-related injured list prior to Sunday's game against the White Sox, Evan Webeck of The San Jose Mercury News reports.

Estrada hasn't played since being scratched from the lineup ahead of Friday's series opener with a sore throat, and though he hasn't tested positive for the virus, the fact that he's experienced symptoms of an illness for 24 hours will be enough for the Giants to place him on the IL. He'll be eligible to return to the active roster as soon as he sheds his symptoms and continues to test negative, but fantasy managers in weekly leagues likely won't feel comfortable including him in active lineups if he isn't cleared before Monday's series opener in Arizona. The Giants called up Yermin Mercedes from Triple-A Sacramento to replace Estrada on the roster.

  • Ketel Marte 2B | ARI

Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Sits in series finale

Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rockies.

Marte will head to the bench for only the second time since he made his return from a hamstring injury June 21. Because the injury still inhibits his lateral movement in the infield, Marte has served exclusively as a designated hitter in his eight starts since returning to the lineup, going a collective 6-for-27 with a home run, nine walks, four runs and two RBI over those games. Cooper Hummel will serve as Arizona's DH in the series finale Sunday.

  • Jonathan Arauz 3B | LAD

Orioles' Jonathan Arauz: Sits against lefty

Arauz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Twins, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

With a lefty (Devin Smeltzer) on the bump for Minnesota, the lefty-hitting Arauz will take a seat for the second straight contest. Platoon mate Tyler Nevin will fill in for Arauz at third base.

  • Reds' Jonathan India: Late scratch Sunday in rest day

The Reds scratched India from the lineup for Sunday's game against Atlanta. He'll be receiving a rest day and isn't dealing with an injury, according to C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic.

Max Schrock was a late addition to the lineup and will replace India as the Reds' starting second baseman and leadoff hitter. India had started each of the past five games, going 5-for-23 with a home run, three RBI and an additional run.
