Albies went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, three runs scored and three RBI in Friday's 9-1 win over the Cardinals.

His two-run shot off Carlos Martinez in the second inning broke the game open for Atlanta and gave Albies his 10th homer of the year. The second baseman hadn't gone yard since May 22, but he's still been plenty productive in the meantime, slashing .310/.376/.512 in his last 21 games with four steals, 14 runs and 19 RBI in addition to Friday's blast.

Polanco went 1-for-4 with a walk, a stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 7-5 extra-inning win over Texas.

Polanco drew a walk, stole second and scored the third run of Minnesota's three-run rally in the 10th inning. The 27-year-old has recorded steals in each of the last two games after previously not attempting a stolen base since May 16. He's now slashing .254/.319/.441 with nine home runs, 30 RBI, 39 runs scored and five steals across 263 plate appearances.

Urias went 2-for-2 with a solo homer, a walk, two runs scored and a stolen base in Friday's 6-5 loss to the Rockies.

Urias put Milwaukee on the board with a solo shot in the third inning, his eighth long ball of the year but his first since June 3. He reached base in each of his four plate appearances and later recorded his third steal of the season after he was hit by a pitch. The 24-year-old infielder is sporting a .755 OPS with 20 extra-base hits and 30 RBI through 234 plate appearances.

Rodgers went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a run scored and an RBI in Friday's 6-5 win over Milwaukee.

Rodgers doubled and scored in the sixth inning and later gave the Rockies a 5-4 lead in the seventh with his RBI double. It was his fourth multi-hit game of the month and first since June 10. The 24-year-old is slashing .264/.349/.431 with 14 RBI through 83 plate appearances.

Kemp went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Friday's 5-3 win over the Yankees.

Per Matt Kawahara of the San Francisco Chronicle, Kemp had homered just once against a left-hander across his first five seasons in the league, but he's now blasted two homers against southpaws since the start of June. The 29-year-old has reached base in each of his last eight games, and he's gone 7-for-26 with a home run, a double, 10 runs, three RBI and seven walks during that time.

Diaz was optioned to Triple-A Jacksonville on Friday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Diaz hit just .146 with two home runs, 10 RBI and six runs during his time with the major-league club, and he posted a 29.4 percent strikeout rate. He'll attempt to sort things out in the minors after Miguel Rojas (finger) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Jon Berti will likely serve as the primary third baseman going forward with Brian Anderson (shoulder) still on the shelf, while Deven Marrero could also see an uptick in playing time.

Forsythe was released by the Brewers on Friday.

Forsythe served as organizational depth while the Brewers dealt with a rash of injuries, but the team never needed to call him up to the active roster. He hit .250/.483/.400 in 17 games for Triple-A Nashville and will now search for his next opportunity.

Hoerner (hamstring) went through the full range of baseball activities Friday, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Hoerner has been out since late May with a strained left hamstring. The Cubs have yet to specify exactly when he'll return to action, but he doesn't appear to be too far off.

Garcia is out of the lineup Friday against the Mets.

The 21-year-old was expected to start against right-handed pitching with Starlin Castro (personal) on the restricted list, but lefty Joey Lucchesi is starting for New York. Castro was actually reinstated to the active roster Friday, though he'll sit for a day before rejoining the lineup while Jordy Mercer starts at third base. According to Maria Torres of The Athletic, a return trip to the minors wouldn't be surprising for Garcia since Washington is back up to full strength in the infield. The Nationals also will need outfield depth with Andrew Stevenson (oblique) sidelined.

Hernandez is out of the lineup Friday against the Royals, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.

Hernandez is 2-for-21 across his past five games and won't start Friday's contest. Danny Santana will start in center field and bat ninth in the series opener.
