The Reds optioned Arroyo to Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

With Ke'Bryan Hayes (groin) ready to return from the injured list, Arroyo will cede his spot on the active roster. Arroyo has really struggled thus far with his big-league opportunities, managing just a .529 OPS with zero home runs over 50 contests.

Nunez is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Padres.

Since the start of August, Nunez has produced a lowly .112/.171/.122 slash line over 31 games, and his playing time has begun to take a hit as a result. He'll take a seat for the third time in six contests while the Nationals go with Jorbit Vivas and CJ Abrams as their starters in the middle infield. Though Nunez continues to lead the majors with 45 stolen bases, fantasy managers could have difficulty extracting much value from him if he fades into more of a part-time role down the stretch.

Lee is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Twins.

Gleyber Torres will cover second base in the series opener while Lee heads to the bench for the first time since Aug. 18, ending a streak of 17 consecutive starts for the rookie. Lee looks poised to handle a near-everyday role in the Detroit infield as the season winds down, but outside of maintaining a serviceable .260 batting average over his 289 plate appearances, he hasn't been a strong fantasy contributor (eight home runs, two steals, 37 RBI, 31 runs in 98 games).

Bazzana is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

Since being promoted to the big leagues April 28, the left-handed-hitting Bazzana has submitted a weak .188./296/.231 slash line (58 wRC+) over 135 plate appearances against left-handed pitching. He'll head to the bench Monday while southpaw Trevor Rogers toes the rubber for the Orioles.

Edwards (thumb) fielded grounders at LoanDepot Park on Monday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

It appears to be the first time Edwards has been allowed to catch a ball with his glove since he suffered a left thumb sprain in late August. The infielder could be ready for activation from the 10-day injured list later this week, though the Marlins have not revealed a specific timeline for Edwards.

The Rockies optioned Ritter to Triple-A Albuquerque on Monday.

He's been jettisoned back to Albuquerque to make space on the active roster for the return of Kyle Karros (concussion). Ritter was with the big club for the past two-plus weeks, going 2-for-12 at the plate in limited action.

Peraza is out of the lineup for Monday's game in Boston.

Following a stretch of six straight starts, Peraza has now been out of the lineup for three consecutive tilts. Vaughn Grissom is covering third base, and Moises Ballesteros will be at first base for the Angels on Monday.

Sogard is not in the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Angels.

Sogard will receive a day of rest after starting each of the last 36 games. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will slot in at second base for the Red Sox in Monday's series opener.

Foscue started at second base and went 1-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Sunday's 8-6 win over Tampa Bay.

Per usual, Foscue was in the lineup against a left-handed starter, and he delivered a game-tying double in the fourth inning to erase the Rays' early lead. He's hit safely in five straight games, going 5-for-14 with two doubles, one home run and five RBI during that streak. When not starting, he's often a mid-game replacement when opponents bring in a lefty reliever.

Bazzana went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and was caught stealing in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Tigers.

Bazzana hit the second of back-to-back doubles in the first inning to knock in the Guardians' first run. He later singled in the eighth inning to give him a third straight two-hit game. Bazzana is 6-for-15 with two doubles, a home run and five RBI in six September contests.
