Carter Kieboom 3B | CLE
Nationals' Carter Kieboom: Still slugging for Fresno
Kieboom has gone 10-for-32 (.313) with three doubles, three home runs, nine RBI and a 6:5 BB:K in nine games since being optioned back to Triple-A Fresno.
The 21-year-old's first stint in the majors didn't go as planned, but Kieboom has been doing his best to earn another shot since returning to the PCL. Trea Turner is now back in the lineup at shortstop for the Nats, but Brian Dozier's continued struggles at the plate could create an opportunity for Kieboom at second base later in the season if he keeps posting strong numbers.

Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA
Nationals' Anthony Rendon: Supplies three-run blast
Rendon went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk Sunday in the Nationals' 6-5 loss to the Cubs.
Rendon's eighth long ball of the season cut the Nationals' deficit to two runs, but the Chicago bullpen was able to limit the damage the rest of the night to lead the Cubs to a series victory. While the loss drops the Nationals eight games below .500, the team's slumping ways are through no fault of Rendon, who has posted a .928 in his 12 games since returning from the injured list May 7.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Giants' Evan Longoria: Swipes second bag
Longoria went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning win over the Diamondbacks.
Longoria returned from an illness Saturday that cost him a couple of games, but his availability on consecutive days should resume his everyday status. The veteran has picked things up over his last 10 contests (.306/.419/.583), and he will need to keep things going in order to protect himself from losing occasional at-bats to the red-hot Pablo Sandoval.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Two-homer day in loss
McMahon went 2-for-4 with a pair of solo homer runs in the Rockies' 7-5 loss to the Phillies on Sunday.
McMahon hit two of Colorado's four homers on the day, going yard in the fourth inning off Jerad Eickhoff and again in the sixth off Jose Alvarez. The big day boosts his slash line to a respectable .260/.347/.442 through 104 at-bats, to go along with five homers and 17 RBI.

Kevin Newman 3B | LAA
Pirates' Kevin Newman: Retreats to bench
Newman is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.
With the exception of Josh Bell, the Pirates have gotten little production of late from their starting infield. The ongoing offensive struggles of third baseman Colin Moran and shortstop Cole Tucker in particular have opened up more work for Newman, who had started in six of the Pirates' past eight games. Though Newman is back on the bench Sunday, his 13-for-36 (.361 average) showing at the plate since returning from the injured list earlier this month should continue to earn him at least semi-regular starts.

Josh Donaldson 3B | MIL
Braves' Josh Donaldson: Resting Sunday
Donaldson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Brewers.
The newly recalled Austin Riley will shift from left field to third base to fill in for a resting Donaldson in the series finale. Donaldson had started each of the Braves' past five games, going 4-for-16 with a home run, double and six walks.

Eduardo Escobar 3B | TOR
Diamondbacks' Eduardo Escobar: Pops 10th homer
Escobar went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-5 loss to the Giants.
Escobar now has 10 homers, 31 RBI, 28 runs, and a .289 average on the season. The infielder is on a six-game hitting streak, going 9-for-27 with three homers and 10 RBI in that span.

Evan Longoria 3B | ARI
Giants' Evan Longoria: Opens scoring in return
Longoria (illness) went 1-for-3 with an RBI single and two walks in Saturday's 8-5 win over the Diamondbacks.
Longoria missed two games with a stomach bug but was able to play the full nine innings Saturday. The third baseman provided the RBI in the first inning and then scored a run in the sixth inning on a triple by Brandon Crawford. Longoria is hitting .230 with 17 runs and 16 RBI in 39 games this season.

Mike Moustakas 3B | CHW
Brewers' Mike Moustakas: Steals third bag of 2019
Moustakas went 1-for-5 with a run and stolen base in a 4-3 loss to the Braves on Saturday.
This was the veteran infielder's first swiped bag since May 6. He has three steals this season, but for a guy who isn't known for speed who also has 11 home runs, that's not bad at all, and he hasn't been caught stealing yet this year. He is hitting .262 with 23 extra-base hits, 29 RBI and 27 runs in 164 at-bats.

Austin Riley 3B | ATL
Braves' Austin Riley: Goes deep again
Riley went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer in a 4-3 victory over the Brewers on Saturday.
The magical start to Riley's MLB career continued Saturday night. He singled in the second inning and then the Braves took the lead on his homer during the sixth. It's still a small sample size, but Riley is 8-for-15 (.533) with three extra-base hits -- including two home runs -- to begin his MLB career.
