Kazuma Okamoto 3B | TOR
Blue Jays' Kazuma Okamoto: Getting comfortable in MLB
Okamoto went 2-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Friday's 8-6 loss to the Guardians.
The third baseman took Gavin Williams deep in the second inning, Okamoto's fourth homer of the season. While the 29-year-old's poor start has been magnified by the exploits of fellow Japanese rookie Munetaka Murakami with the White Sox, Okamoto is beginning to find his footing in North America, recording three multi-hit performances in the last six games while batting .333 (7-for-21) with a double, two homers, five runs and five RBI.

Rangers' Josh Jung: Plates lone run in loss
Jung went 1-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and an RBI in Friday's 8-1 loss to the Athletics.

He immediately stole third base -- his first steal of the season -- but was stranded there. Since a two-game absence attributed to being banged up, Jung has hit safely in 12 of 14 contests, going 19-for-51 (.373) with 12 extra-base hits (three home runs), 11 RBI and nine runs.

Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN
Reds' Eugenio Suarez: Bound for injured list
The Reds will place Suarez on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a low-grade oblique strain, Charlie Goldsmith of Fox 19 Now Cincinnati reports.
The Reds initially announced that Suarez was dealing with mid-back pain when they scratched him from the lineup ahead of Friday's game. Further evaluation revealed that the 34-year-old infielder suffered an oblique injury and will have to spend time on the injured list because of it. The team hasn't yet provided a return timeline for him, but because his injury is labeled as "low-grade," he may not need to spend much more than the minimum 10 days on the shelf. In the meantime, Nathaniel Lowe figures to step in as Cincinnati's primary designated hitter against right-handers.

It was also the star shortstop's second three-hit game of the year and his first since April 3. For the season, Henderson is batting just .207 but does have 13 extra-base hits, 16 RBI, 18 runs scored and four stolen bases over 111 at-bats.
