  • Brady House 3B | WAS

Nationals' Brady House: Getting breather Saturday

House isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against Baltimore, Mark Zuckerman of NatsJournal.com reports.

House will take a day to reset Saturday after going 0-for-11 with four strikeouts over his last three games. Jose Tena will start at third base with House out, and Jorbit Vivas will work as the Nats' designated hitter.

  • Ramon Urias 3B | STL

Cardinals' Ramon Urias: Gets elbow injury re-evaluated

Urias was scheduled to get his injured right elbow re-evaluated by a doctor Friday, Daniel Guerrero of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Out since early May with tennis elbow, Urias has spent the past week getting treatment and doing strengthening exercises, and he was able to progress to on-field work pregame Friday. It's unclear what the result was from Friday's doctor visit, but Urias could soon get clearance to ramp up his activities. The veteran infielder is eligible to return now but does not yet have a timetable.

  • White Sox's Alexander Albertus: Returns from 7-day IL

Albertus (tibia) has gone 2-for-11 with two doubles, two walks, three RBI and one run across three games for Single-A Kannapolis since being reinstated from the 7-day injured list Tuesday.

Albertus was cleared to make his debut for Kannapolis after completing a four-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Arizona Complex League earlier this month. Since being acquired from the Dodgers in July 2024, Albertus has been limited to 15 total minor-league appearances with the White Sox due to multiple injuries to his left tibia.

  • Jake Burger 1B | TEX

Rangers' Jake Burger: Logs rare theft

Burger went 0-for-2 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 2-0 loss to Houston.

Burger, who was one of five Rangers to reach base against Houston pitching, stole his first base of the season and reached third base but was stranded there. He's not usually a threat on the basepaths and has one steal in each of the last four seasons. The streaky Burger remains a lineup regular despite a .224/.263/.385 slash line through 171 plate appearances.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Moved to second in order

Ramirez batted second and went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 7-6 loss to the Reds.

Ramirez, who is batting just .220 through 46 games, logged his first three-hit effort of the season. It was the second consecutive game that he and Chase DeLauter switched spots in the batting order, and if batting second triggers a revival in the veteran's bat, Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt may stick with the change. Ramirez, who has spent the majority of his career batting third (1,009 starts), recently expressed interest in batting second, per Tim Stebbins of MLB.com. The manager said nothing his set in stone, but he trusts Ramirez's instincts and will roll with the new batting order for now.

  • Isaac Paredes 3B | HOU

Astros' Isaac Paredes: Launches solo homer

Paredes went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Friday's win over the Rangers.

Paredes went yard for the first time since April 26. Paredes hasn't delivered eye-popping numbers in recent weeks, but he's been productive enough to remain relevant, aided by the fact that he hits near the top of the order on a regular basis. He's hitting .265 with a .756 OPS, a homer, three RBI, two runs scored and a 6:11 BB:K in 14 games since the beginning of May.

  • Max Muncy 3B | LAD

Dodgers' Max Muncy: Pops homer in Friday's win

Muncy went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Friday's 6-0 win over the Angels.

Muncy has three homers over his last five games, adding five RBI and six runs scored in that span. The third baseman has remained a reliable strong-side platoon hitter, though he's also gotten into the lineup versus left-handed pitchers six times. His splits are not as extreme this year as they were last year -- he's posted a .948 OPS versus right-handers and an .890 OPS against southpaws in 2026. Overall, he's maintained a .275/.372/.563 slash line with 12 homers, 18 RBI, 31 runs scored, five doubles and no stolen bases across 164 plate appearances.

  • Alex Bregman 3B | CHC

Cubs' Alex Bregman: Scores three times Friday

Bregman went 2-for-5 with a walk and three runs scored in Friday's 10-5 win over the White Sox.

Bregman is heating up with a six-game hitting streak, and he's batting .308 with a home run and five runs scored during the productive stretch. It's been a bit of a slow start overall for the veteran third baseman (.696 OPS), but his recent play could be a preview of better days ahead, and there should be no shortage of playing time for Bregman in the heart of Chicago's lineup.

  • Orioles' Gunnar Henderson: Working through slump

Henderson went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI in Friday's 3-2 loss to Washington.

Henderson is mired in a deep power outage, but he was at least able to rip his second double of the month of May on Friday. The All-Star shortstop hasn't homered since April 26, which is a 16-game drought without a long ball. He's hitting a paltry .202 with 18 extra-base hits, 22 RBI, 23 runs scored and five stolen bases across 188 at-bats on the year.

  • Taylor Walls SS | TB

Rays' Taylor Walls: Collects three RBI on Friday

Walls went 1-for-3 with three RBI during the Rays' 7-2 win over the Marlins on Friday.

Walls brought Cedric Mullins home on a groundout to first, and the former tacked on two more runs for Tampa Bay with a double to right field. Walls' three RBI on Friday were a season high, and it's the third time in four games that he's driven in at least one run. He has gone 4-for-14 (.286) with five RBI and two runs scored over his last four games.
