  • Ramon Urias 3B | STL

Orioles' Ramon Urias: Provides lone run support

Urias went 1-for-3 with a three-run homer in Sunday's loss to the Astros.

The Orioles mustered up just two hits, but Urias got a hold of one against Yusei Kikuchi in the fifth to even up the game at 3-3. Urias has swung the bat well lately, slashing .302/.354/.651 with four homers, 13 RBI and seven runs scored since Aug. 10. For the year, he's hitting .247/.316/.416 with nine homers, 31 RBI, 29 runs, a steal and a 21:47 BB:K in 256 plate appearances.

  • Dodgers' Enrique Hernandez: Homers in Sunday's win

Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Rays.

Hernandez scored the game's first run with a solo blast to center off Jacob Lopez in the fifth. He's now homered in back-to-back starts after having just one homer since July 21 and has seven RBI in his last eight starts. For the year, the 33-year-old is slashing .215/.276/.350 with nine homers, 33 RBI, 33 runs and a 26:67 BB:K in 326 plate appearances.

  • Mark Vientos DH | NYM

Mets' Mark Vientos: Goes deep Sunday

Vientos went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Padres.

Vientos took Jason Adam deep to center in the seventh inning for one of two extra-base hits the Mets had all afternoon. It's the third time in his last five games with multiple hits and he's now tied for fourth among all third basemen with 21 homers despite having just 332 plate appearances. Vientos has seen himself batting from the two-hole the last 10 games, and while he owns a .977 OPS over that span, he's also striking out 44.9 percent of the time compared to 24.7 percent before the lineup change. The 24-year-old is enjoying a breakout campaign, slashing .277/.334/.551 with 41 extra-base hits, 55 RBI, 44 runs and a 25:92 BB:K.

  • Jose Ramirez 3B | CLE

Guardians' Jose Ramirez: Two thefts in win

Ramirez went 1-for-3 with one RBI and two stolen bases in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Rangers.

Ramirez was a menace on the basepaths in the third inning. He stole second and third, but he was thrown out at the plate attempting to steal home. Ramirez doesn't have elite speed, but he makes good decisions in his baserunning -- he's now 32-for-36 on steal attempts this year. He's been especially prolific lately with seven thefts over his last 12 contests despite batting .200 (8-for-40) in that span. Overall, the third baseman is up to a .274/.332/.531 slash line with 33 home runs, 103 RBI and 94 runs scored across 127 games.

  • Connor Norby 2B | MIA

Marlins' Connor Norby: Homer among three hits in win

Norby went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and three total runs scored in Sunday's 7-2 win over the Cubs.

Norby has hit the ground running with the Marlins, going 9-for-24 (.375) over his first six games with the team. He's homered in back-to-back contests, giving him four long balls on the year. The infielder has added six RBI, 10 runs scored, one stolen base and a .268 batting average through 15 games between Miami and Baltimore this year. Norby is seeing steady playing time at third base, though he's likely to drop back into the bottom half of the order once Xavier Edwards (back) returns -- Norby has hit leadoff in both games Edwards has sat out.

  • Brett Baty 3B | NYM

Mets' Brett Baty: Out with fractured finger

Baty was diagnosed with a fractured left index finger Sunday and is expected to be sidelined 4-to-6 weeks.

Baty had .997 OPS in his last 12 games with Triple-A Syracuse and had a chance of rejoining the Mets down the stretch, but the injury will instead put him on the injured list for the foreseeable future. The 25-year-old hasn't been ruled out for the season, but any complications in his recovery would make a return this year difficult.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Goes yard Sunday

Devers went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Sunday's 7-5 loss to Arizona.

Devers took Merrill Kelly yard in the fourth inning with two outs, plating Wilyer Abreu and Triston Casas to give the Red Sox a 4-0 lead. The long ball was Devers' third in the last nine games, a stretch in which he's 9-for-35 with eight RBI and five runs scored. It was also the 200th of his MLB career. The third baseman has 28 home runs on the year and boasts a .952 OPS, which would be a career high if it stands.

  • Shay Whitcomb SS | HOU

Astros' Shay Whitcomb: On bench again Sunday

Whitcomb is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Orioles, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Whitcomb finds himself on the bench for the second straight game after he started the previous seven contests. Alex Bregman is at third base again Sunday, while Yainer Diaz is serving as the designated hitter.

  • Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN

Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Perfect at plate

Suarez went 4-for-4 with a three-run home run and an additional run scored during Sunday's 7-5 win over the Red Sox.

Suarez's three-run home run off Tanner Houck in the sixth inning put the Diamondbacks ahead after the team trailed through five frames. The third baseman logged a hit in all four of his plate appearances during the victory, marking his second four-hit game of the season. Sunday's performance capped an exceptional series for Suarez, who went 8-for-13 with a pair of home runs, 10 RBI and five runs across the three-game set with Boston.

  • Josh Rojas 3B | CHW

Mariners' Josh Rojas: Late addition to lineup

Rojas is starting at third base and batting eighth Sunday against the Giants.

The 30-year-old was scheduled to sit against San Francisco lefty Robbie Ray on Sunday, but Luke Raley (undisclosed) ended up being a late scratch. Rojas has struggled through most of August and is in the midst of a 5-for-44 slump.
