  • Anthony Rendon 3B | LAA

Angels' Anthony Rendon: Activated from 60-day IL

The Angels activated Rendon (hamstring) from the 60-day injured list Monday.

Rendon has been sidelined since late April with a torn left hamstring but convinced the Angels he was ready by facing some live pitching and working out. He skipped a rehab assignment, so rust is likely a given that he hasn't played a game in 11 weeks. Rendon could be eased into everyday playing time but eventually will be a regular between designated hitter and/or third base. He is leading off and playing third base Monday versus the Rangers in his return to action.

  • Ke'Bryan Hayes 3B | CIN

Pirates' Ke'Bryan Hayes: Sitting out Monday

Hayes is out of the lineup for Monday's contest versus the Mets.

Hayes appears to be getting a routine maintenance day after he started in each of the previous six games. Jared Triolo will fill in for Hayes at third base.

  • Eugenio Suarez 3B | CIN

Diamondbacks' Eugenio Suarez: Paces offense with five RBI

Suarez went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer, a double, five RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 9-1 win over the Padres.

Suarez had his most productive day at the plate this season. He broke a 1-1 tie in the seventh with a two-run blast off Dylan Cease and then later tallied a bases-clearing double in the ninth. He had one more RBI on Sunday than his previous 20 starts combined. It was just his second game of the year with three hits and also his second with at least three runs driven in. Suarez is now slashing just .210/.298/.339 with seven homers, 39 RBI, 32 runs and a 32:99 BB:K in 339 plate appearances.

  • Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Powers Boston with two homers

Devers went 3-for-4 with two solo home runs in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Yankees.

With the game tied going into the seventh, Devers broke through with a solo home run the opposite way to put the Red Sox out in front. He then admired a no-doubter 423-foot blast off Michael Tonkin in the ninth to make it a 3-0 ballgame. With his two-homer performance, Devers now has seven long balls in his last 10 games at Yankee Stadium and moved into a tie with David Ortiz for the fifth-most home runs at Yankee Stadium as a visiting player (16). He hasn't just been hot against the Yankees, however. Over his last 11 games, Devers is slashing .405/.479/.976 with seven homers, 16 RBI, 13 runs and a 6:11 BB:K. He's putting together another extremely productive campaign with one more week before the All-Star break and is currently slashing .293/.378/.593 with 21 homers, 55 RBI, 56 runs and a 40:79 BB:K in 336 plate appearances.

  • Royals' Maikel Garcia: Breaks homer drought

Garcia went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run during Sunday's 10-1 win over Colorado.

Garcia hit leadoff in each of his previous 11 starts but was bumped down to eighth in the batting order Sunday. Despite the change, Garcia still was productive, hitting his first home run since May 17 with a three-run blast off Tanner Gordon in the first inning. On the year, Garcia is slashing .230/.283/.347 with six home runs and a 15.8 percent strikeout rate.

  • Lenyn Sosa 2B | TOR

White Sox's Lenyn Sosa: Hitting streak reaches eight games

Sosa went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen base Sunday against the Marlins.

Sosa extended his hitting streak to eight games, six of which have been multi-hit performances. Across those eight games, he's gone 15-for-34 with a pair of home runs, six RBI and six runs scored. Sosa also swiped his first bag since June 10.

  • Danny Mendick 3B | CHW

White Sox's Danny Mendick: Goes deep in loss

Mendick went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer, two runs scored and a walk in Sunday's loss to Miami.

Mendick opened the game's scoring with his two-run shot in the fourth inning. It was his third long ball of the year and first since May 26. The utility infielder is slashing just .200/.248/.328 with 10 extra-base hits and 13 runs scored through 134 plate appearances.

  • Jake Burger 3B | TEX

Marlins' Jake Burger: Delivers walk-off home run

Burger went 1-for-5 with a three-run homer in Sunday's win over the White Sox.

Burger was 0-for-4 with a pair of punchouts before he belted a three-run shot to win the game in the ninth inning. He's gone deep three times in his last 10 games after halting his 11-game drought. On the year, Burger owns a disappointing .216/.256/.356 slash line with nine home runs and 31 RBI through 68 games.

  • Nolan Arenado 3B | ARI

Cardinals' Nolan Arenado: Drives in two in win

Arenado went 2-for-5 with two RBI in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Nationals.

Arenado continued his hot stretch at the plate with his third consecutive game of two or more hits. It's the second time this season he's put together a streak of three straight multi-hit efforts, each of which has come over his last 22 appearances. He also picked up an RBI in consecutive games after a stretch during which he had only two RBI in his last 14 games. The veteran's slash line sits at a solid .270/.322/.379 but a lack of homers -- seven so far -- has stunted his fantasy value.

  • Gio Urshela 3B | MIN

Tigers' Gio Urshela: Records three hits Sunday

Urshela went 3-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's 5-1 win over the Reds.

Urshela notched his first three-hit effort since June 11 as he helped lead the Tigers to victory. The veteran infielder is batting .249 for the season, which is a step back after he hit .299 for the Angels during an injury-shortened 2023 campaign. Urshela still has time to pick his average up, however, and he should stick in an everyday role as long as he's healthy, so his fantasy stock could increase down the stretch.
