Christian Vazquez will get a turn behind the dish in the finale.

    Jackson was in the lineup to give Ben Rortvedt a day off and delivered his second home run of the season. He'll continue to play sparingly as the backup catcher and has just a .361 OPS and .091 average for the campaign.

    Caratini (hip) will play in rehab games at Double-A Corpus Christi on Saturday and Sunday before joining the Astros on Monday in Oakland, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

    The Astros begin a three-game set against the Athletics on Monday, and Caratini is on track to return from his rehab assignment for the start of the series. The catcher has been recovering from a strained left hip and will have completed five rehab games when he rejoins the big-league club. Cesar Salazar will likely be optioned once Caratini is activated.

    Rogers went 1-for-4 with a grand slam in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Blue Jays.

    Rogers broke the game open with a grand slam off Trevor Richards in the sixth inning. The long ball was his first since June 29, as he has been sharing catching duties with Carson Kelly. On the year, the 29-year-old is hitting .204 with seven home runs, 20 RBI and 28 runs scored across 199 plate appearances.

    Bailey isn't in the Giants' lineup Saturday against the Rockies, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

    Bailey went 0-for-3 with a walk and drove in a run during Friday's loss, and he'll step aside Saturday while Curt Casali starts behind home plate.
