Giants' Tyler Rogers: Takes fifth loss
Rogers (4-5) allowed two runs on two hits and struck out three without walking a batter over two innings, taking the loss and a blown save Saturday versus Atlanta.
Rogers did his job with a scoreless seventh inning, but manager Gabe Kapler sent him back out for the eighth. Eddie Rosario took Rogers deep for a two-run home run that flipped the game around, handing the submariner his fifth blown save of the year, four of which have come in his last 11 appearances. In that span, the right-hander has given up seven runs over 11.2 innings. He's at a 2.73 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 48:15 K:BB with two saves and 24 holds over 59.1 innings this year, but he's been a bit less reliable than usual over recent weeks.

Dodgers' Brusdar Graterol: Nabs sixth save
Graterol allowed two hits in a scoreless inning to earn the save in a 3-1 win over the Marlins in the second game of Saturday's doubleheader.
Evan Phillips was called on for a save in the matinee, allowing Graterol a chance to close out the nightcap. This was Graterol's 10th straight scoreless outing, and he's allowed just one run across 19 innings dating back to June 27. The right-hander also has two saves in his last four appearances after going six weeks between save chances. For the season, Graterol has six saves, 16 holds, a 1.53 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 38:9 K:BB through 53 innings as a strong late-inning presence, though Phillips is still the favorite to close for the Dodgers.

Marlins' David Robertson: Takes blown save Saturday
Robertson (4-4) allowed three runs on four hits and two walks over one inning, taking the loss and a blown save in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader versus the Dodgers.
Robertson got the first out and then proceeded to allow five straight batters to reach base. He's been scored on in three of his eight appearances with the Marlins, and all three of those instances have resulted in multiple runs on his ledger. Robertson is at a 2.94 ERA, 1.12 WHIP and 55:18 K:BB through 52 innings this year while going 17-for-22 in save chances between the Mets and the Marlins.

Dodgers' Evan Phillips: Earns save in matinee
Phillips pitched a perfect inning to earn the save in a 3-1 win over the Marlins in Game 1 of Saturday's doubleheader.
Phillips has picked up a save in each of his last seven outings, and he's kept runs off the board in his last four appearances. He's 19-for-21 in save conversions this season while pitching to a 2.49 ERA, 0.81 WHIP and 52:11 K:BB over 47 innings overall. Phillips and Brusdar Graterol each earned a save as the Dodgers swept the doubleheader Saturday, but the former has the edge for ninth-inning duties.

Braves' Raisel Iglesias: Converts for save No. 24
Iglesias picked up the save Saturday against the Giants. He struck out two over a perfect inning.
Iglesias turned in his third consecutive perfect appearance, forcing Johan Camargo to ground out before fanning Thairo Estrada and Casey Schmitt. The outing extended his scoreless inning streak to 12 frames, a stretch that dates back to July 20. During that timeframe, Iglesias has surrendered just five hits and three walks while punching out 19 batters.

Pirates' Colin Holderman: Exits outing early
Holderman exited his appearance in Saturday's contest versus the Twins with cramping in his right arm, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.
Holderman entered the game in the seventh inning, allowing one run on two hits and walk while striking out a batter before exiting. Considering it's his throwing arm, more information on Holderman's status will likely be provided following the contest.

Diamondbacks' Tyler Gilbert: Optioned to Triple-A
Gilbert was optioned to Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
Gilbert will head to Reno after he spent over a month with the major-league roster, producing a 5.19 ERA and 1.50 WHIP with 19 strikeouts over 17.1 innings in 11 appearances since July 8. Nabil Crismatt had his contract selected from Triple-A and will replace him in the major-league bullpen ahead of Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader with San Diego.

Diamondbacks' Scott McGough: Starting nightcap
McGough will start the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against San Diego, Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports.
Saturday will mark the first start of McGough's major-league career. He's put up a 4.76 ERA and 1.25 WHIP alongside a 69:24 K:BB through 56.2 innings on the season and will likely remain in the game for an inning or two before handing it off to the bullpen.

Mets' Vinny Nittoli: Back in majors
The Mets recalled Nittoli from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.
The Mets optioned Nittoli to Syracuse at the beginning of August, and he has surrendered one run in 4.2 innings since then. He'll now join the Mets' bullpen and look to keep his momentum going in the majors after throwing 1.2 scoreless frames for New York in June. Joey Lucchesi was optioned to Syracuse in a corresponding move.

Mets' Adam Kolarek: Selected from Triple-A
The Mets selected Kolarek from Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday.
Kolarek was acquired by the Mets in exchange for cash at the trade deadline, and now the 34-year-old southpaw will join the Mets' bullpen for the first time. Kolarek holds a 2.55 ERA and 1.33 WHIP through 35.1 innings in Triple-A this season and threw 1.1 scoreless innings with the Dodgers in June. Dennis Santana was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.
