Santos did not allow a baserunner across 1.2 scoreless innings while striking out three to earn the save Tuesday against the Cubs.

Santos entered the game with the bases empty in the eighth frame and was dominant on the way to his third save since taking over the full-time closer role for the White Sox. He's been used to record more than three outs in three of his last six appearances, a span during which he's maintained a 2.16 ERA and 0.96 WHIP with a 9:1 K:BB across 8.1 innings.

Duran picked up the save in Tuesday's 5-3 win over Detroit. He allowed a solo home run and a single while striking out two in the ninth inning.

The 25-year-old closer served up a solo homer to Spencer Torkelson and a base hit to Kerry Carpenter before striking out Zach McKinstry to end the game. Duran is now 10-for-11 in second-half save chances despite a 5.11 ERA and 1.54 WHIP across 12.1 innings during that stretch.

Diaz (knee) threw off a mound in the bullpen Wednesday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

It's not clear whether it was a regular bullpen session or a touch-and-feel situation, but either way, it's the first time Diaz has thrown from the rubber since he underwent patellar tendon surgery in March. Prior to Wednesday's session, he had done some throwing from the base of the mound. Diaz and the Mets have not ruled out a late-season return for the star reliever, but it's far from a guarantee that it will happen. Fantasy managers shouldn't be counting on him to contribute again until 2024.

Cisnero (2-3) took the loss Tuesday against the Twins. He allowed three runs on two hits and a walk while failing to record an out.

The 34-year-old was summoned in the sixth inning to safeguard Detroit's 2-0 lead, but he gave up a walk and two singles before getting the hook. All three baserunners would come around to score in the inning, saddling the righty reliever with a loss. However, culpability doesn't solely rest on Cisnero, as he induced a Max Kepler infield pop-up that landed in foul territory due to a miscommunication between third baseman Matt Vierling and catcher Eric Haase. Cisnero's performance has been a mixed bag lately with a 7.36 ERA and 1.45 WHIP despite a stellar 18:3 K:BB across 11 second-half innings.

Floro (4-5) earned the win Tuesday against the Tigers. He allowed one hit and struck out one in a scoreless sixth inning.

Floro was the beneficiary of Minnesota's five-run, sixth-inning outburst, earning the win after tossing a scoreless frame. The 32-year-old reliever tallied seven saves and nine holds for Miami, but he has served in a less prominent bullpen role since being traded to the Twins on July 26. Floro sports a 4.40 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 45:12 K:BB across 45 innings this season.

Carasiti (shoulder) began a rehab assignment with the Rockies' Arizona Complex League affiliate Tuesday.

Carasiti tossed a scoreless frame for the ACL Rockies in his first game appearance since late June. The right-handed reliever should be ready to rejoin Colorado's bullpen before the end of the month.

Jansen picked up the save in Tuesday's 5-4 victory over the Nationals, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Jansen improved to 28-for-31 in save chances this year. Since July 5, he's worked to a pristine 1.54 ERA over 11.2 innings. Overall, Jansen's ERA is down to 2.91 with a 1.21 WHIP and 48:15 K:BB across 40.1 innings this season.

Pivetta did not factor into the decision Tuesday, allowing four runs on five hits and three walks over 4.1 innings against the Nationals. He struck out seven.

While Pivetta racked up seven strikeouts, he was only able to make it through 4.1 innings on 86 pitches (60 strikes). The right-hander has 17 punchouts over his last three outings (13.1 innings), though he's struggled to a 6.08 ERA in that span. Overall, Pivetta's 8-6 with a 4.34 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 127:41 K:BB across 101.2 innings this season. With Tanner Houck (face) scheduled to return next week, the Red Sox may elect to move Pivetta back to the bullpen.

Richards (neck) began a rehab assignment with Triple-A Buffalo on Tuesday.

Richards' first rehab appearance was postponed as Buffalo was rained out, but the right-hander is game-ready after missing the previous two weeks with neck inflammation. Assuming he gets into Wednesday's game, it's possible that's the only appearance he'll need before rejoining the Blue Jays' bullpen.

Jarvis allowed one run on one hit and one walk while striking out three over three innings in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Rockies.

Jarvis made his MLB debut after being summoned from Triple-A Reno on Sunday. He was given the bulk-inning role and threw 51 pitches in what was a bullpen effort Tuesday. The right-hander was a starter in the minors but transitioned to relief at Reno in preparation for a bullpen role for the Diamondbacks. The Diamondbacks are down a starter, so Jarvis could continue in a similar bulk-inning role for now. Zach Davies (back) was roughed up in his second rehab start Tuesday but did get up to 80 pitches. If the Diamondbacks hold him back for another rehab start or opt to remove him from the rotation, Jarvis could see bulk innings this coming Sunday.
