Miles will work as a bulk reliever during Saturday's game against the Orioles, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Miles gave up six earned runs in just three innings while working as a traditional starter last Sunday on the road in Baltimore, so the Blue Jays will move him back into a bulk-relief role for a rematch with the Orioles at Rogers Centre. Right-hander Braydon Fisher will open the game for Toronto, likely working the first inning or two before handing the ball over to Miles, who owns a 2.37 ERA and 1.05 WHIP as a reliever this season.

Fisher will serve as Toronto's opening pitcher for Saturday's game against the Orioles, Keegan Matheson of MLB.com reports.

Fisher has been one of the Blue Jays' most effective high-leverage arms this season, posting a 2.62 ERA and 0.93 WHIP across 34.1 innings. The Blue Jays will move him up to the first inning Saturday for what will be his fourth opener assignment of the season. Spencer Miles is likely to take over as a bulk reliever behind Fisher at some point during the first or second inning.

Adams earned the save in Friday's 5-3 win over the Royals, allowing one run on two hits in the ninth inning. He did not record a walk or a strikeout.

Adams was called upon with a three-run lead in the ninth inning and closed things out despite allowing a run. The 26-year-old has now converted both of his save chances this season, though he owns an unsightly 8.25 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 13:5 K:BB across 12 innings with the Twins.

Bachar will serve as the Marlins' opening pitcher during Saturday's game against the Rays, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Bachar pitched 2.2 shutout innings when the Marlins last relied on him to work as an opener Tuesday in Washington, so they'll give him another opening assignment during Saturday's contest. It's unknown whether Miami will use a bulk reliever behind Bachar or treat the game as a bullpen day.

Fitzpatrick was removed from Friday's game against the Rockies due to an apparent injury, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

After tossing a scoreless sixth inning Friday, Fitzpatrick went back out to the mound to pitch the seventh but injured himself while warming up. The Brewers will likely provide an update on his status after they take a closer look at him.

Gusto (0-1) took the loss against the Rays on Friday, allowing three runs on three hits and one walk while striking out one batter in two innings.

Gusto made his first start of the season Friday, but it was a rough outing for the 27-year-old right-hander. He gave up all three of his runs in the first inning and tossed 33 pitches before turning the keys over to Tyler Phillips in the third. Unfortunately for Gusto, he was unable to avoid the loss, as his Marlins teammates were limited to just two hits and a walk in a shutout. He has given up six runs across his two outings since being called up from Triple-A Jacksonville on Tuesday.

Chapman earned the save in Friday's 5-3 win over the Yankees, allowing two walks while striking out one batter in a scoreless ninth inning. He did not allow a hit.

Chapman walked two of the first three batters he faced in the ninth inning, but he came away with his 13th save of the season after getting Jose Caballero to fly out right field and Trent Grisham to ground out to first base. Chapman has not allowed a run over his last 15.2 innings, striking out 23 batters while logging 11 saves in that span. Chapman has been dealing with a hamstring issue recently, interim manager Chad Tracy told Rob Bradford of WEEI.com after the game, but the veteran closer seems intent on pitching through the injury.

The Rockies recalled Agnos from Triple-A Albuquerque on Friday.

Agnos will rejoin the big-league roster to provide extra bullpen depth as Tanner Gordon (hip) moves to the injured list. Agnos has performed poorly in the majors this season, accumulating a 7.78 ERA and 1.57 WHIP through 37 innings.

The Rockies placed Gordon on the 15-day injured list Friday, retroactive to Tuesday, with a right hip impingement.

Gordon gave up four earned runs in just three innings during his last start Sunday, and he'll now have to wait until at least mid-June for his next chance to redeem himself. It's unclear who will fill Gordon's place in the rotation, which is scheduled to come up Saturday, but the Rockies will recall Zach Agnos from Triple-A Albuquerque to provide additional bullpen depth during Friday's game against the Brewers.

The Padres placed Estrada on the 15-day injured list Friday, retroactive to Wednesday, with right knee inflammation.

Estrada gave up a run and took the loss during his last appearance Tuesday, and he seems to have come away from the outing with a knee issue. Manager Craig Stammen said Friday that he doesn't expect the right-hander's injury to linger, per AJ Cassavell of MLB.com, so he could be cleared to return when first eligible. In the meantime, David Morgan will come up from Triple-A El Paso to round out San Diego's bullpen.
