The Royals selected Cameron from Triple-A Omaha on Tuesday.

Cameron made nine starts for Triple-A Omaha after beginning the year in Double-A Northwest Arkansas. He posted a 2.32 ERA and 1.02 WHIP across 54.1 innings in Omaha, tallying three wins. The 25-year-old is now shielded from the Rule 5 Draft in December.

The Red Sox selected Dobbins' contract from Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Dobbins made 25 starts between Double-A Portland and Worcester in 2024, finishing with a 3.08 ERA and 120:48 K:BB over 125.2 innings. The 25-year-old is now on the 40-man roster and shielded from the Rule 5 Draft.

The Phillies selected Chace's contract from Double-A Reading on Tuesday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.

Chace was acquired from the Orioles at the trade deadline in the deal that sent Gregory Soto to Baltimore. He's just 21 and has struggled to throw strikes with a career 14.5 percent walk rate, but Chace's 31.6 percent strikeout rate points to his upside.

Burnes rejected the Orioles' $21.05 million qualifying offer Tuesday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

This was simply a formality, as Burnes is set to cash in on a big long-term deal this offseason. According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the Dodgers and Orioles are the front runners to land Burnes, so he'll surely be on a team that projects to win a lot of games with a quality defense behind him.

Fried rejected Atlanta's one-year, $21.05 million qualifying offer Tuesday, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

As expected. Fried is in line to land a lucrative long-term contract this winter after posting a 3.25 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 166:57 K:BB across 174.1 regular-season innings in 2024. The left-hander is not expected to re-sign with Atlanta, and assuming that holds true, the club will receive a draft pick as compensation.

Rom (shoulder) cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A Memphis on Tuesday.

The Cardinals added some prospects to the 40-man roster as Rule 5 draft protection, so Rom was a roster casualty. He had arthroscopic shoulder surgery in May and did not pitch at all in 2024. If he's healthy this spring, he should provide rotation depth at Triple-A.

Pivetta rejected the Red Sox' one-year, $21.05 million qualifying offer Tuesday, Chris Cotillo of MassLive.com reports.

Pivetta being extended the qualifying offer was met with some initial surprise, but it quickly became clear that he was going to have a strong free-agent market and that's evident now that he's turning down a sizable one-year deal. The right-hander has never posted an ERA below 4.00 in his career, but Pivetta boasts a 30 percent strikeout rate and 7.3 percent walk rate over the last two seasons and is still relatively young, as he will turn 32 in February. If Pivetta signs elsewhere, the Red Sox will receive a draft pick.

The Twins selected Raya's contract from Triple-A St. Paul on Tuesday, Kiley McDaniel of ESPN.com reports.

Raya made 24 starts at Double-A Wichita and one at St. Paul this past season, finishing with a 4.05 ERA and 103:44 K:BB over 97.2 innings. The 22-year-old is now part of the 40-man roster and is likely to return to St. Paul to begin 2025.

The White Sox selected Carela's contract from Double-A Birmingham on Tuesday, James Fegan of SoxMachine.com reports.

Acquired from the Yankees in 2023 in the Keynan Middleton trade, Carela posted a 3.71 ERA and 114:45 K:BB across 106.2 innings covering 23 starts between High-A Winston-Salem and Birmingham in 2024. Just seven of those outings came at the latter affiliate, and he could return to that level to start 2025.

Severino has rejected the Mets' one-year, $21.05 million qualifying offer, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Severino might not be able to match the $21.05 average annual value of the qualifying offer on a multi-year contract, but he should still do pretty well in free agency. The Mets are interested in bringing the right-hander back, but if they're unable to they will net a draft pick when Severino signs elsewhere. Severino, who turns 31 in February, held a 3.91 ERA and 161:60 K:BB over 182 innings across 31 regular-season starts for the Mets in 2024.
