Misiorowski allowed three hits and a walk while striking out seven over 3.2 scoreless innings in a no-decision versus the Mariners on Tuesday.

Misiorowski was limited to 64 pitches (45 strikes), which suggests that the Brewers are initiating a workload management plan for their prized rookie in the second half. Per Adam McCalvy of MLB.com, Misiorowski knew this start would be one with a pitch count. Across all levels this season, he's thrown 92.2 innings, which is approaching his high mark of 99.1 frames from last year. The specific details of any innings limit aren't known yet, but Tuesday's start in an interleague matchup makes sense as one to rein him in while letting him work more against key divisional opponents. Misiorowski is at a 2.45 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 40:12 K:BB through 29.1 innings across six starts in the majors. He is tentatively projected for a home start versus the Cubs next week. It's possible the Brewers will turn to a six-man rotation once Nestor Cortes (elbow) is activated from the injured list, but the team has yet announce if that's the direction it will take.

Cabrera (4-4) picked up the win Tuesday against San Diego, allowing one run on five hits and no walks with six strikeouts over 5.2 innings.

Cabrera was lifted from his last start before the All-Star break with elbow discomfort, but he didn't need to miss a start due to the issue. The 27-year-old threw 86 pitches in Tuesday's win and allowed two or fewer runs for the sixth time in seven starts. During that stretch, he has a 2.82 ERA and a 39:9 K:BB across 38.1 innings. He's tentatively scheduled to face the Cardinals next time out.

Kolek (3-5) took the loss Tuesday against Miami, allowing three runs on eight hits and one walk with five strikeouts across 5.2 innings.

Kolek returned after over two weeks at Triple-A El Paso to make Tuesday's start, and he fell one out short of his third quality start of the campaign. He's now allowed at least three runs in five of his last six starts, and he hasn't exceeded five strikeouts in nine outings. The 28-year-old has a 4.28 ERA across 73.2 big-league innings in 2025. If Kolek sticks in the rotation, his next start would likely come Sunday at St. Louis.

Burns (0-2) took the loss Tuesday against Washington, allowing six runs (five earned) on seven hits and two walks across 5.2 innings. He struck out 10.

Burns flashed his elite strikeout stuff once again Tuesday, punching out 10 batters for a second straight outing and logging at least seven Ks for the fourth time in five career starts. The 22-year-old has been unpredictable so far, allowing 13 total runs (10 earned) in two of his starts but yielding just six runs in his other three outings combined. Burns has particularly struggled with power, surrendering a home run in four of five starts. He's tentatively scheduled for another tough test, as his next start is slated to come against the Dodgers.

Daniel (0-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Giants, allowing five runs on seven hits and four walks in five innings. He struck out three.

The Giants hit Daniel hard in the second inning, plating four runs and getting six batters to reach base during the frame. The 28-year-old right-hander was still able to eat five innings for Atlanta's injury-plagued rotation, and he at least appears to be stretched out for a traditional starter's workload after throwing 92 pitches in third outing of the season Tuesday. Daniels owns a dicey 5.40 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 9:7 K:BB through his first 10 frames, and his next turn tentatively lines up for next week in Kansas City against the Royals.

Roupp (7-6) earned the win Tuesday against Atlanta, allowing four hits and one walk in five shutout innings. He struck out six.

Roupp delivered his third scoreless start in his last six games, and he hasn't conceded more than two runs in any outing during that stretch. While the right-hander had a poor 5.10 ERA following his April 30 start in San Diego, he's produced a much-improved 2.27 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and 60:28 K:BB over his last 14 appearances (71.1 innings). Roupp will look to keep the good times rolling in a soft spot at home versus the last-place Pirates his next time out.

Montas (3-1) earned the win Tuesday against the Angels, allowing two runs on eight hits and two walks in 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

Montas set a season high in both strikeouts and hits allowed during the outing. Four of those eight knocks traveled for extra bases, and the 32-year-old right-hander has been unable to complete six innings in any of his first five starts this year. Montas hasn't established himself as a reliable fantasy option quite yet, posting a 4.62 ERA, 1.30 WHIP and 23:6 K:BB over 25.1 frames, and he'll remain difficult to trust in next week's scheduled matchup in San Diego against the Padres.

Hendricks (5-7) took the loss Tuesday against the Mets, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk in 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

The veteran right-hander had been cruising along until the fifth inning, when the Mets tagged him for three runs on four hits during the frame. It was still the seventh consecutive start with one walk or fewer for Hendricks, but he's fanned more than five on just one occasion during this stretch. Hendricks will bring an uninspiring 4.92 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 67:25 K:BB across 100.2 innings into his next scheduled outing, currently set to come this weekend at home versus the division-rival Mariners.

Schlittler didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against Toronto, allowing two runs on seven hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out three.

Schlittler was able to complete five frames in his second straight start to begin his major-league career. Additionally, the rookie right-hander touched 99 mph with his fastball four times while inducing a respectable nine whiffs. It's unknown if he'll stay in New York's rotation once Luis Gil (lat) is ready to come off his rehab assignment, but Schlittler's next start is tentatively projected for next week at home versus the Rays.

Scherzer didn't factor into the decision Tuesday against the Yankees, allowing four runs on five hits and one walk in five innings. He struck out four.

The Yankees ambushed the veteran hurler for three runs in the opening frame, but Scherzer was able to settle in for four innings of one-run ball thereafter. Four of his five hits allowed went for extra bases, and the 40-year-old right-hander has yet to yield fewer than two runs in any of his first six starts this season. Scherzer will try to improve on a 5.14 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 28:8 K:BB over 28 innings in his next scheduled outing, which is slated for this weekend in Detroit against the first-place Tigers.
