Guardians' Brayan Rocchio: Fills stat sheet in win
Rocchio went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a walk and a stolen base in Tuesday's 9-5 extra-innings win over the Yankees.
This was the first time in Rocchio's major-league career he homered and swiped a bag in the same game. Despite the fantastic effort, the steal was his first since May, and he entered Tuesday having gone just 4-for-24 over his previous 10 games. On the season, the 23-year-old is hitting .210 with six home runs, 27 RBI, 40 runs scored and nine stolen bases across 344 plate appearances.

While the Angels' lineup isn't anything special, Neto should continue to provide well-rounded production out of the No. 2 spot in the order as he has since Luis Rengifo (wrist) exited the lineup Aug. 3.

Athletics' Jacob Wilson: Next rehab steps outlined
Wilson (hamstring) is scheduled to play seven innings in a rehab game with Triple-A Las Vegas on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.

The Athletics plan to have him alternate starts at designated hitter and shortstop over his next three appearances. While manager Mark Kotsay still doesn't have a timetable on Wilson's potential activation from the injured list, the skipper confirmed that the rookie wouldn't be a candidate to return until at least next week.

The 30-year-old has found his power swing since the All-Star break, slamming nine homers while hitting .283 (32-for-113) with 20 RBI, and 18 runs scored across 29 games.
