The Orioles designated Owings for assignment Wednesday, Rich Dubroff of BaltimoreBaseball.com reports.

The Orioles will move Owings off the 40-man roster to clear a spot for long reliever Austin Voth, whom the organization claimed off waivers from the Nationals on Tuesday. Owings had seen limited playing time for the Orioles this season, appearing in 27 games while slashing .107/.254/.143 across 68 plate appearances.

Perdomo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Reds.

Perdomo will take a seat one day after smacking his first career home run while driving in a career-high five runs in the Diamondbacks' 14-8 loss. Jake Hager steps in at shortstop for Perdomo, who had started at the position in each of the last five contests.

Pena isn't starting Wednesday against the Mariners, Chandler Rome of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Pena went 4-for-11 with two RBI, a stolen base, a walk and three strikeouts over the last three games, and he'll get a breather during Wednesday's series finale against Seattle. Aledmys Diaz will start at shortstop and bat seventh.

Turner went 1-for-3 with one steal in Tuesday's loss against the White Sox.

The stolen base was Turner's 12th of the season, good for fifth highest in MLB and third in the National League. Turner maintains an excellent .299/.354/.467 slash line and continues to be a productive asset for both the Dodgers and fantasy managers.

Berti went 0-for-3 with a walk, a run scored and a stolen base in Tuesday's 12-2 win over the Nationals.

The veteran utility player continues to take advantage of the regular role created by a succession of injuries around the Marlins' infield. Berti has started seven straight games and 10 of the last 11, and while he's batting only .243 (9-for-37) over that stretch, he's drawn six walks for a .349 OBP, scored seven runs and stolen six of his eight bases on the season.

Duran went 3-for-5 with two runs scored in the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader split with the Guardians. He went 1-for-4 in the first game.

Duran started at second base in the opener then moved to third for the nightcap. The rookie is 6-for-13 with one home run since being called up last weekend. Third base has been a black hole for the Rangers, so there's an opportunity for Duran to stick in the majors, although this is his first experience above Double-A.

Chang went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI on Tuesday against the Tigers.

Chang delivered an RBI double in the second inning to put the Pirates up 1-0. It was his first knock of the season across 22 at-bats. Out of minor-league options, Chang has gotten consistent playing time in the absence of Josh VanMeter (finger), but he'll need to improve his performance to retain a spot on the 40-man roster.

Mateo went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Cubs.

Mateo's second-inning blast would be all the offense the Orioles needed, giving them a 5-1 lead at the time. He had gone 0-for-13 in his first five games in June prior to the long ball Tuesday. The shortstop is up to a .210/.240/.352 slash line with four homers, 15 RBI, 15 runs scored and 13 stolen bases through 51 contests.

Perdomo went 2-for-4 with a grand slam, an additional RBI and an additional run during Tuesday's 14-8 loss at Cincinnati.

Perdomo entered the contest with only five RBI in 48 games this season, but he doubled that total between the eighth and ninth innings Tuesday with a grand slam and an RBI single, respectively. It was also the first home run of his major-league career. The 22-year-old continues to operate as Arizona's primary shortstop with Nick Ahmed (illness/shoulder) on the injured list.

Bogaerts was removed from Tuesday's game against the Angels with left shoulder tightness, Julian McWilliams of The Boston Globe reports.

Bogaerts went 1-for-4 with two strikeouts and appeared to tweak his shoulder during his last at-bat, and he was lifted for a pinch hitter during the ninth inning. The severity of the injury remains unclear, and he should be considered day-to-day until more information is available.
