Turner went 4-for-4 with a double, a homer and two runs scored Tuesday against the Orioles.

Turner's monster night Tuesday was a much-needed sign of life, as the speedy shortstop was hitting just .200 over his first 14 games in June. The strong effort raised his batting average by 11 points to a .267 mark to go along with his eight homers, 26 RBI and 20 stolen bases on the year.

Crawford was placed on the 10-day disabled list Tuesday with a fractured left hand, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic Philadelphia reports. He's expected to miss 4-to-6 weeks.

Crawford suffered the injury when he was hit on the left hand by a Luke Weaver pitch in the fourth inning. Maikel Franco will likely handle everyday third base duties with Crawford expected to be sidelined for at least the next month. The young infielder was hitting just .194 prior to his exit Tuesday.

Camargo went 4-for-5 with a double, a homer, five RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's win over the Blue Jays.

Camargo blew the game open with a grand slam in the second inning off of Blue Jays starter Jaime Garcia. He then tacked on two singles and a double to record the first four-hit game of his career. Camargo is hitting .400 (10-for-25) over his last seven starts and has raised his season average from .209 to .240 over that stretch.

Crawford exited Tuesday's game against the Cardinals early after being hit by a pitch on his left hand, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Crawford was plunked on the left hand by a Luke Weaver pitch in the fourth inning. He stayed in on the basepaths during the bottom of the fourth but was removed from the contest before the Phillies took the field in the next half-inning. Maikel Franco took over at third. We'll wait for an official diagnosis on Crawford's injury.

Manager Ned Yost said Mondesi will start at shortstop a few times per week, Rustin Dodd of The Athletic Kansas City reports.

Mondesi was originally expected to see most of his playing time at second base, but Yost talked to Alcides Escobar -- who has made 405 consecutive starts at shortstop -- and the veteran shortstop assured the manager that he was on board with ceding a few starts to the youngster moving forward. The 22-year-old Mondesi, who is viewed as the Royals' shortstop of the future, is 1-for-7 in two appearances this season.

Baez (elbow) is in the lineup for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers.

Baez was able to come off the bench in the first game of the day and will return to the starting lineup in the second. He'll end up missing just one start after getting hit in the elbow by a pitch Sunday.

Adames is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Astros, Hunter Atkins of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Adames will head to the bench for the first time since joining the Rays early last week -- an eight-game stretch during which he hit just .214/.281/.250. Adeiny Hechavarria will start at shortstop in this one and bat ninth.

Ahmed went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, walk and two runs Monday in the Diamondbacks' 7-4 win over the Angels.

Ahmed's deep drive to center field in the eighth inning bounced off the glove of Mike Trout and over the fence for the shortstop's 10th home run of the season, marking the first time in his career he has reached double digits in the category. After recording just 13 hits in May, Ahmed has already surpassed that total in June (16), with seven of those hits going for extra bases. Though Ahmed's .204 ISO is nearly 40 points above his previous career best, the fact that he focused on retooling his swing path this spring in order to tap into more power offers hope that his slugging production won't regress much from here.

Baez (elbow) might be available for the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, Carrie Muskat of MLB.com reports.

Baez left Sunday's game against the Cardinals after getting hit in the elbow by a pitch. He's not starting the afternoon portion of Tuesday's doubleheader but could to be good to go after a few more hours of rest. Either way, it doesn't sound as if his absence will be particularly lengthy.

Rojas went 2-for-4 with three RBI in Monday's win over the Giants.

The multi-hit game and the RBI were his first since May 28, as Rojas went a putrid 6-for-53 (.113) between those performances. JT Riddle hasn't done much at the plate since rejoining the Marlins, but Rojas' own .651 OPS isn't exactly demanding more playing time at shortstop, either.
