The hot stretch has boosted his season slash line to .259/.343/.448 to go along with 11 long balls, 32 RBI, 37 runs scored and 13 steals across 272 plate appearances.

Muncy (nose) will start at third base and bat fifth Saturday against the Angels, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
Muncy was held out of the lineup for Friday's game after hurting his nose in a collision during Thursday's contest, but he'll be back in action Saturday. The 35-year-old has gone 6-for-27 with two home runs, three RBI and four runs scored across his last nine games.

Brewers' Drew Rom: Selected from Nashville
The Brewers selected Rom's contract from Triple-A Nashville on Saturday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
With Brian Fitzpatrick (elbow) becoming the third Brewers reliever to land on the injured list in the past two days, the team will turn to Rom to provide depth to its bullpen. The 26-year-old southpaw hasn't pitched in the majors since 2023, but he's posted a 2.81 ERA and 1.19 WHIP to go with a 37:8 K:BB through 25.2 innings at Nashville this season.

Brewers' Brian Fitzpatrick: Placed on injured list
The Brewers placed Fitzpatrick (elbow) on the 15-day injured list Saturday, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
The results of Fitzpatrick's MRI are still unknown, though the Brewers have already determined that the 26-year-old lefty will need to spend time on the injured list. Drew Rom was selected from Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move to fill the void in Milwaukee's bullpen.

Vargas (thigh) is not in the Diamondbacks' starting lineup against the Nationals on Saturday.
Vargas is dealing with a left thigh contusion that forced him to leave Thursday's game against the Dodgers. He entered Friday's game against Washington after being absent from the starting lineup, so Vargas could be available off the bench for the Diamondbacks for Saturday's contest. LuJames Groover will start at first base and bat eighth.

Harris (back) is not in Atlanta's starting lineup against Pittsburgh on Saturday, Chad Bishop of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Harris was removed from Friday's game due to back tightness. He's not quite ready to return to the lineup but is available as a pinch hitter Saturday, per Mark Bowman of MLB.com. Atlanta will start Mike Yastrzemski, Mauricio Dubon and Ronald Acuna in the outfield from left to right.

Cardinals' Ramon Urias: Removed from rehab assignment
Urias (elbow) returned to St. Louis to undergo an examination on his left elbow, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Urias landed on the 10-day injured list in early May due to right elbow lateral epicondylitis, but he came out of his rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis on Friday due to pain in his left elbow. The result of Saturday's tests will determine the next steps for Urias' rehab program.

Diamondbacks' Drey Jameson: Recalled by Arizona
The Diamondbacks recalled Jameson from Triple-A Reno on Saturday.
The move corresponds with Kade Strowd being optioned to Reno following Friday's game against the Nationals. Jameson has spent the entire 2026 season in Triple-A, where he has a 7.33 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 23:12 K:BB across 23.1 innings. He appeared in three regular-season games for the Diamondbacks in 2025, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits and three walks over three innings while logging one save.
