The Astros recalled Ullola from Triple-A Sugar Land on Sunday, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

The 24-year-old right-hander has yet to make his big-league debut, but he'll provide the Astros with a fresh bullpen arm ahead of Sunday's series finale in Detroit. Since signing with the Astros out of the Dominican Republic in 2021, Ullola has largely served as a starter during his time on the minors, but he was moved to the bullpen at Sugar Land in late May and has produced a 2.70 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 16:6 K:BB in 10 innings across 10 relief appearances.

Seager went 1-for-4 with a walk, a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 7-4 win over Toronto.

Seager, who returned from a stay on the injured list Thursday, returned to the starting lineup after getting a day off Friday. His sixth-inning home run was Seager's 10th of the season.

The Reds recalled Friedl from Triple-A Louisville on Sunday.

The 30-year-old was optioned to Triple-A in early June after posting a .179/.259/.256 slash line through 178 plate appearances, but he'll get another chance with the Reds after Blake Dunn (elbow) landed on the injured list. Friedl filled the strong side of a platoon in center field at the start of the season, though it's unclear if he'll slide back into that role after posting an .841 OPS in 18 games for Louisville. The Reds will include him in the starting lineup and batting eighth versus right-hander Mitch Keller during Sunday's series finale in Pittsburgh.

The Reds placed Dunn on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a right elbow sprain.

Dunn was sent in for an MRI on Saturday after being lifted from Friday's 6-4 win over the Pirates due to elbow discomfort, and though the severity of the injury isn't yet known, he's been diagnosed with a sprain and will remain out until at least July 7. Cincinnati recalled TJ Friedl from Triple-A Louisville in a corresponding move, but it's unclear if he'll be deployed in the strong side of a platoon in center field in Dunn's stead, or if Dane Myers will step in as the preferred option at the position against both righties and lefties. Noelvi Marte has also made two starts in center field this season but is more ideally suited for a corner-outfield spot.

Watson went 1-for-3 with a double and an RBI in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Mariners.

Watson's fourth-inning double with runners at first and third base produced Cleveland's first run and extended his RBI streak to five games (7-for-16, eight RBI). In a small sample, the 23-year-old is 4-for-6 with runners in scoring position. Watson and fellow rookie Cooper Ingle are providing a boost to an offense that ranks 28th in runs and OPS.

Holmes allowed one hit and no walks while striking out four across four scoreless innings out of the bullpen during Saturday's 5-0 loss to the Giants.

Manager Walt Weiss indicated that Holmes would be available as a reliever this weekend if needed, and the skipper called upon the right-hander after starter Bryce Elder surrendered five runs across four innings. Holmes lasted fewer than five frames in each of his last three starts and had a 6.10 ERA, 2.03 WHIP and 8:10 K:BB across 10.1 innings during those appearances, but the strong showing out of the bullpen could help him to get back on track. The 30-year-old was expected to make his usual turn through the starting rotation this week if he went unused in relief, so he should slot back into the rotation next weekend versus the Mets after the bullpen appearance.

Athletics manager Mark Kotsay said after Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Angels that Soderstrom was removed in the bottom of the third inning due to left hip tightness, Jason Burke of Roundtable.io reports. Soderstrom struck out in his lone at-bat before departing.

Kotsay indicated that Soderstrom will be re-evaluated Sunday, which likely indicates that the 24-year-old won't be featured in the lineup for the series finale. The Athletics should have a better sense of Soderstrom's outlook once the evaluation is completed, but a lengthy absence would open the door for Carlos Cortes and Colby Thomas to see more opportunities.

Ingle started at designated hitter and went 1-for-3 with two RBI in Saturday's 4-3 win over Seattle.

Ingle's fourth-inning single through a drawn-in infield plated two runs, giving the Guardians a 3-0 lead. It marked his first hit and RBI in the majors. A catcher coming up through the minors, Ingle is up with Cleveland for his bat and will not be limited to duty behind the plate. The Guardians carry four players capable of catching and are expected to deploy Ingle at DH and in left field.

Martinez (foot) has shed his walking boot, is playing catch and hitting off a batting tee, Tim Stebbins of MLB.com reports.

It's encouraging that Martinez has begun baseball activities already, but there's been no word his four-to-six week timeline has been adjusted. That likely means a return after the All-Star break. The 24-year-old switch hitter has a career-high .718 OPS, 11 homers and nine steals through 66 games this season.

Carrasco signed a minor-league contract with Atlanta on Saturday.

The 39-year-old elected free agency after being designated for assignment by Atlanta on Wednesday, but he'll return to the club on a minor-league deal for the sixth time in 2026. Carrasco has pitched decently in the majors this season with a 3.68 ERA, 1.16 WHIP and 6:1 K:BB across 14.2 relief innings.
