Raleigh is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Royals due to right side soreness and is considered day-to-day, Daniel Kramer of MLB.com reports.

Raleigh was sent for an MRI after being scratched from the lineup Saturday due to unspecified soreness, which the Mariners have now identified, but the American League MVP runner-up has indicated that his injured side is already feeling better, per Divish. Raleigh was able to take some swings in the batting cage earlier Sunday, but he's unlikely to get used as a pinch hitter in the series finale versus Kansas City. He could return to the lineup Monday against Atlanta, however, either at catcher or designated hitter.

Langeliers is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Guardians in order to be with his wife following the birth of their child, Jason Burke of SI.com reports.

It doesn't sound as though Langeliers is heading to the paternity list, with Sunday's game off followed by a team off day Monday. Tyler Soderstrom will serve as the Athletics' emergency catcher Sunday with backup Austin Wynns starting behind the plate.

Del Castillo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cubs.

The 26-year-old finds himself on the bench for the second straight day while the Diamondbacks face another lefty starter in Matthew Boyd, and Del Castillo could soon find his path to playing time against righties narrower as well. Gabriel Moreno returned from the injured list Friday to serve as the Diamondbacks' primary catcher, and Jose Fernandez (.793 OPS in 93 plate appearances this season) has performed well enough to hold off Del Castillo (.601 OPS in 65 plate appearances) for regular reps at DH.

Hicks is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.

With lefty Jesus Luzardo on the bump for the Phillies, the left-handed hitter will hit the bench. Agustin Ramirez draws the start at catcher for Miami, while Christopher Morel serves as the team's designated hitter in Hicks' absence.

Marchan is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Marlins.

On the bench for the second day in a row, Marchan has moved back into the No. 2 role at catcher after J.T. Realmuto was reinstated from the injured list Saturday. Before Realmuto's return, Marchan had started five of the Phillies' prior six games and gone 1-for-16.

Smith is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Smith will take a seat after going 1-for-6 with two walks and a strikeout in the first two games of the series. Dalton Rushing is taking over behind the plate and batting sixth for the Dodgers.

Stephenson is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Pirates.

Stephenson started the previous three games and will receive Sunday off after going 3-for-11 with two doubles and a run scored during that span. Jose Trevino will take over behind the plate and bat eighth for the series finale in Pittsburgh.

Bailey is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rays, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

It's a well-earned rest for Bailey, whose only game off in the past seven contests came as part of Thursday's doubleheader in Philadelphia. Eric Haase is stepping in behind the plate Sunday for the Giants.

Basallo is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

The left-handed hitter will hit the bench against a second straight southpaw in Max Fried. Adley Rutschman will draw the start at catcher while Pete Alonso serves as Baltimore's designated hitter in Basallo's absence.

Diaz is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Red Sox.

Diaz will receive a routine day off after starting behind the plate or at designated hitter the last five games. Christian Vazquez will handle catching duties in the series finale in Boston.
