Bido (2-4) allowed six runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two over 1.2 innings to take loss versus the Dodgers on Thursday.

Bido gave up three runs in each of the first two innings and still got out of the game before the bulk of the Dodgers' offensive onslaught. Jason Alexander was tagged for nine runs over 2.1 innings of relief after Bido's exit. Bido has had a few duds this season, but this was the first time he's failed to complete five innings. He's allowed four or more runs in four of his last five starts and now has a 5.82 ERA, 1.62 WHIP and 29:18 K:BB across 43.1 innings. The right-hander is tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the Angels.

Ginn (elbow) threw 3.1 scoreless innings for Triple-A Las Vegas with five strikeouts and two walks during a rehab start Wednesday. He will travel with the A's for their upcoming road trip at San Francisco, MLB.com reports.

Ginn will next throw a bullpen session between starts. If all goes well he could return to the rotation early next week, potentially Monday at home against the Angels.

DeGrom (4-1) allowed five hits and one walk while striking out seven over eight shutout innings to earn the win over the Astros on Thursday.

DeGrom turned in a vintage performance while battling Hunter Brown in a pitching duel. A Jake Burger home run was all the support deGrom needed to secure his fourth straight win. He's allowed two runs or less in six straight starts while racking up a fantastic 40:5 K:BB across 36.1 innings in that span. For the season, deGrom is sporting a 2.29 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and 53:11 K:BB across 51 innings through nine starts. He's projected for a tough road outing versus the Yankees next week.

Brown (6-2) pitched a complete game despite taking the loss versus the Rangers on Thursday, allowing one run on three hits while striking out nine without walking a batter over eight innings.

Brown started with four perfect innings before giving up a double to Adolis Garcia in the fifth. Brown also allowed a solo shot to Jake Burger in the sixth, which was the lone run of the game. This was the fifth start in a row with exactly nine strikeouts for Brown, who continues to be superb. He's allowed one run or fewer in six of nine starts, and he's logged eight quality starts on the year. The 26-year-old is now at a 1.43 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 67:14 K:BB over 56.2 innings.

Sugano (4-3) took the loss Thursday against Minnesota, allowing four runs on six hits and one walk with three strikeouts over 6.1 innings.

Depth has been the primary source of Sugano's fantasy value this season, and he pitched into the seventh frame for the fourth time in six starts. However, he surrendered a season-high four runs and gave up multiple home runs for the third time in that six-start stretch. On the year, Sugano has a 3.08 ERA, a 1.03 WHIP and a 29:9 K:BB over 52.2 innings.. He's slated to make his next start Tuesday at Milwaukee.

Waldron (oblique) began a rehab assignment in the Arizona Complex League on Thursday, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Waldron suffered an oblique strain in mid-March but returned to the mound Thursday. He allowed one earned run on two hits and a walk while striking out three across 1.2 frames. Waldron threw a total of 38 pitches, so he'll likely need a few more appearances before being activated.

Paddack (2-3) picked up the win Thursday against Baltimore, allowing three hits and one walk with three strikeouts over seven scoreless innings.

Paddack cruised to his second consecutive victory, logging his first scoreless start of 2025. He's now allowed one or fewer runs in three of his last four starts, and he owns a 1.85 ERA with 13 strikeouts in 24.1 innings during that stretch. He'll look to keep rolling in his next start, which is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday against the Guardians.

Martinez (2-4) picked up the win Thursday against the White Sox, allowing two hits and no walks with three strikeouts across seven scoreless frames.

Martinez delivered his first scoreless start of 2025, shutting down the lowly White Sox and setting a season high in innings pitched. The 34-year-old righty has now logged four consecutive quality starts, and he hasn't allowed a walk in 19 innings. Through 51.2 innings this season, Martinez owns a 3.66 ERA, a 1.16 WHIP and a 40:11 K:BB.. He's scheduled to face the Pirates in Pittsburgh early next week.

Smith-Shawver (3-2) picked up the win Thursday against the Nationals, allowing one unearned run on two hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out six.

The only damage against Smith-Shawver came in the sixth inning, when a two-out fielding error by Austin Riley allowed CJ Abrams to score from second base. It was another excellent start from the 22-year-old, who's allowed just one earned run in his last 19.2 innings. On the year, Smith-Shawver has a 2.33 ERA and a 40:17 K:BB across 38.2 innings. He's in line to make his next start Thursday for a road matchup against Washington.

Williams (2-5) took the loss Thursday against Atlanta, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and no walks across 4.1 innings. He struck out four.

Williams allowed one unearned run on two hits through four innings before having a nightmare fifth frame. He hit Ozzie Albies with a pitch to begin the inning and later gave up three straight singles before being pulled. Williams has now allowed at least four runs in four consecutive starts, and he owns a 6.86 ERA and a 17:5 K:BB across 21 innings during that stretch. He's tentatively scheduled to pitch again Wednesday in a rematch with Atlanta.
