Gray (13-8) earned the win against the Giants on Sunday, allowing three runs on two hits and four walks while striking out six across 5.1 innings.

Gray retired the first 11 batters he faced and kept the Giants off the board through the first five frames. He was brought out for the sixth inning to earn the quality start, but Gray allowed five of the first six batters on base before being pulled for Matt Svanson. Gray has struggled to finish in his last two starts, and the veteran right-hander has a 4.45 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 179:35 K:BB across 163.2 innings this season. He's slated to make his next start next weekend on the road against the Brewers.

Nelson allowed one run on three hits and three walks while striking out three over six innings in a no-decision versus the Red Sox on Sunday.

Nelson put in a good start, but the Diamondbacks' bullpen failed to hold the lead by allowing three runs in the seventh inning and three more in the ninth. Nelson has logged four straight quality starts, allowing eight runs with a 19:6 K:BB in that span, but he has just one win in that span. For the season, he's at a 3.48 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 118:36 K:BB through 137 innings over 30 outings (20 starts). The right-hander's next start is projected to be on the road in Minnesota.

Bello allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out two over six innings in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Sunday.

Bello has logged quality starts in four of his last five outings, allowing 10 runs (nine earned) over 31 innings in that span. He was in line for the win when the Red Sox took the lead in the top of the seventh, but the bullpen wasn't able to keep that lead. Bello is now at a 3.12 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and 114:51 K:BB through 152.2 innings over 26 appearances (25 starts). The 26-year-old's next start is expected to be at home versus the Yankees.

Misiorowski (5-2) allowed one run on three hits and two walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Pirates.

Misiorowski got back to his dominant ways Sunday after some recent struggles. Aside from Liover Peguero's second-inning RBI single, the Pirates did not pose much of a threat. Misiorowski set new career highs with seven innings and 108 pitches. The flamethrowing righty had given up 14 runs in 14.2 frames (8.59 ERA) in four appearances since returning from the injured list before Sunday's impressive performance. Misiorowski will carry a 4.09 ERA and a 77:24 K:BB across 55 innings into his next outing, which is expected to be at home against the Cardinals next weekend.

Severino allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out seven over five innings in a no-decision versus the Angels on Sunday.

Severino fell behind early, allowing a two-run home run to Jo Adell in the first inning. The Athletics were able to briefly tie the game after Severino's exit to help him avoid the loss. The right-hander has covered five frames in each of his two starts since returning from an oblique injury, though his pitch count was in the normal range (89) in this outing. Through 146.1 innings this season, he has a 4.67 ERA, 1.31 WHIP and 114:46 K:BB across 26 starts. Severino is tentatively projected to make his next start at home versus the Reds.

Farris allowed two runs on three hits and one walk while striking out four over six-plus innings in a no-decision versus the Athletics on Sunday.

Farris wasn't able to come away with a win in his second big-league start, but he did earn his first quality start. Both runs against him came on solo homers, as Willie MacIver took him deep in the third inning and Tyler Soderstrom did the same in the seventh. Farris has allowed three runs across 11 innings over his two outings while posting a 7:3 K:BB. He's likely done enough to stay in the rotation at least as long as Tyler Anderson (oblique) is out, which could be the remainder of the season. Farris is lined up for a road start in Seattle for his next appearance.

Burrows is listed as the Pirates' probable starting pitcher for Tuesday's game in Baltimore.

In an effort to keep Burrows' workload in check down the stretch, the Pirates deployed him in relief for his last two appearances, but the right-hander will slot back into the rotation this week as Pittsburgh opens a three-game set in Baltimore. Even though he's starting again, Burrows is still likely to be subject to an unspecified innings and/or pitch limit, making it difficult to count on him pitching long enough to qualify for a win. In his most recent outing this past Wednesday against the Dodgers, Burrows had piggybacked Braxton Ashcraft, but the two pitchers could reverse roles Tuesday. Ashcraft isn't listed as a starter for the series in Baltimore, so he'll presumably be available to work behind Burrows.

Means (elbow) struck out three and allowed five earned runs on six hits and two walks over 4.1 innings in a rehab start Sunday with Triple-A Columbus.

Means had originally lined up to make the fifth start of his rehab assignment Friday with Columbus, but after falling ill, he ended up being pushed back a couple of days in the pitching schedule. The additional time off didn't prove beneficial for Means, who got stretched out to 72 pitches but wasn't particularly effective, as he surrendered four extra-base hits. The southpaw will presumably make at least one more rehab start with Columbus during the upcoming week before potentially returning from the 60-day injured list to make his Guardians debut in the second half of September.

Ober (5-7) earned the win Sunday at Kansas City, allowing one run on four hits and a walk over 5.1 innings with six strikeouts.

The Minnesota right-hander tallied a victory for the first time since May 3 -- he had gone 0-6 with a 5.91 ERA in 85.1 frames across 16 starts over that winless span. Ober's main issue during that stretch was the long ball, as he coughed up 24 -- good for a 2.5 HR/9 -- in that time. Sunday marked his first homerless performance in his last five appearances. Overall, the 30-year-old has now pitched to a 5.08 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 105:28 K:BB across 129.1 total innings. Ober currently projects to make his next start at home against Arizona next weekend.

Lorenzen (5-10) gave up four runs on seven hits and no walks over 5.1 innings to take the loss Sunday against Minnesota. He struck out five.

Despite generating an impressive 17 whiffs out of his 82 total pitches, Lorenzen had the misfortune of reaching the double-digit loss plateau for the first time in his 11-year career. The 33-year-old was bitten by the long ball -- coughing up two in an outing for the first time in his seven starts post-All-Star break -- with Byron Buxton and Kody Clemens going deep in the first and fourth, respectively. Through 124.1 total frames, Lorenzen now sports a 4.63 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 110:34 K:BB while yielding 21 homers. He currently lines up to make his next start at Philadelphia next weekend.
