The Angels selected Campero's contract from Double-A Rocket City and placed him on the 10-day injured list Saturday due to a fractured hand.

Campero was hit by a pitch and suffered a fracture on his hand in Rocket City' game against Montgomery on Sunday, so he'll have to wait to make his 2026 big-league debut. Campero slashed .287/.375/.455 with six home runs and 27 RBI in 167 plate appearances at the Double-A level, and he's taking the 40-man roster spot of Omar Martinez, who was designated for assignment Saturday.

Burke (3-3) earned the win against the Phillies on Saturday, allowing three runs on three hits and five walks with seven strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Burke was actually the only White Sox pitcher to allow a run on Saturday, but he was spotted an early lead and did enough to earn the win in bulk relief. The 26-year-old issued a season-high five walks and allowed two homers, but he has now tallied at least five strikeouts in five straight outings. He'll carry a 3.88 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 67:23 K:BB across 69.2 innings into a tough home matchup against the Dodgers next weekend.

Painter (1-7) took the loss against the White Sox on Saturday, allowing six runs on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts over 4.2 innings.

Painter allowed four runs in the first inning before surrendering two solo homers in the third. He generated 13 whiffs on 93 pitches and allowed just three hard-hit balls, but all three went for extra bases. It marked the fifth time in 12 starts that the rookie failed to complete five frames, and he has now recorded four strikeouts or fewer in six straight outings. He'll take an ugly 6.21 ERA, 1.57 WHIP and 47:19 K:BB across 58 innings this season into a challenging road matchup against the Brewers next weekend.

The Angels placed Soler (oblique) on the 10-day injured list Saturday (retroactive to June 4).

Soler was scratched on Friday due to a hip issue, but he will now hit the injured list due to a left oblique strain. The 34-year-old slugger has .220/.300/.402 with nine homers and 33 RBI through 243 plate appearances this season. Soler's placement on the IL coincides with the activation of Nolan Schanuel, who logged a minimum IL stint due to an ankle injury.

Bradish (3-7) took the loss against the Blue Jays on Saturday, allowing five runs on nine hits and three walks with three strikeouts over four innings.

Bradish was mostly done in by a four-run third inning, though he allowed at least one baserunner in every frame before departing at 81 pitches. It was the 29-year-old's shortest outing since another five-run loss May 2, snapping a five-start stretch in which he had surrendered just six earned runs overall. He'll take a 3.89 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 68:36 K:BB across 69.1 innings into a home matchup against the Mariners next week.

The Angels activated Schanuel (ankle) from the 10-day injured list Saturday.

Schanuel missed the minimum 10 days after landing on the IL on May 27 due to left ankle tendinitis. The 24-year-old is back in the starting lineup Saturday, batting fifth and starting at first base. Schanuel has slashed .262/.313/.387 with four home runs and 24 RBI across 208 plate appearances this season.

Miles (3-1) earned the win in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Orioles, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk with five strikeouts over 4.1 innings.

Miles entered in the second inning and allowed a homer to the second batter he faced but was able to settle in for the win, throwing 48 of 73 pitches for strikes and recording five strikeouts despite generating only five whiffs. It was a nice rebound after the 25-year-old surrendered six runs in a starting role Sunday, and he has now yielded two earned runs or fewer while working at least three frames in five of his past six outings. He owns a 3.54 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 39:13 K:BB across 40.2 innings this season, including two starts and 15 relief appearances.

The Dodgers recalled Frasso from Triple-A Oklahoma on Saturday.

Frasso will make his first appearance in the major leagues after toiling in the organization's minor-league system since 2021. The 27-year-old has posted a 4.85 ERA, 1.85 WHIP and 24:10 K:BB across 13 innings at the Triple-A level this season. The right-hander takes the spot of Tyler Glasnow (back) on the active roster following the latter's transfer to the 60-day injured list.

Glasnow has yet to make strong enough strides to return to a big-league mound, thus resulting in a 60-day IL stint. The 32-year-old resumed throwing May 25, but he was unable to get over the hump to advance his pitching progression beyond playing catch. The Dodgers will call up Nick Frasso to take Glasnow's spot on the 40-man roster and add another pitcher to the depleted Dodgers pitching staff.

Varland tossed a perfect ninth inning to earn the save in Saturday's 6-4 win over the Orioles. He did not record a strikeout.

Varland was called upon to protect a two-run lead in the ninth inning and did so on just eight pitches. The 28-year-old is now a perfect 10-for-10 in save chances this season and has gone 17 straight appearances without allowing an earned run. He owns a 0.27 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 43:9 K:BB across 33.1 innings, with the lone knock on his fantasy value being that he's occasionally been deployed before the ninth frame in other high-leverage situations.
