Bradish agreed to terms on a five-year, $90 million contract extension with the Orioles on Saturday.

Bradish's new deal will buy out his two remaining years of arbitration as well as three years of free agency, ensuring the Orioles retain their ace through the 2031 campaign. The 29-year-old righty missed significant time in 2024 and '25 due to Tommy John surgery but has been fully healthy this year and sports a 3.61 ERA and 1.35 WHIP alongside a 106:50 K:BB through 107.1 innings.

Montgomery will serve as the opening pitcher in Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against Cleveland, Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports.

Montgomery will receive his fifth opening assignment of the season after giving up just two earned runs over 8.1 innings across his last nine outings. The 26-year-old southpaw has never completed two full innings in an appearance this season, so he'll likely secure just the first three outs of the game before turning things over to the Pirates' bullpen.

The Mariners designated Mastrobuoni for assignment Saturday.

After having his contract selected by Seattle on July 3, Mastrobuoni made only three at-bats for the big-league club before being DFA'd on Saturday. This marks the second time the 30-year-old has been designated for assignment by Seattle this campaign. With Julio Rodriguez coming back from the 7-day injured list, the Mariners needed to make room for him on the active roster.

Rodriguez (concussion) is back from his brief absence on the 7-day IL, which began July 3. The 25-year-old adds a much-needed bat to Seattle's lineup, as he has slashed .259/.323/.424 with 14 homers and 40 RBI in 378 plate appearances this season. In order to make room for Rodriguez on the active roster, Seattle designated Miles Mastrobuoni for assignment. Rodriguez is in Saturday's lineup, batting second and acting as the designated hitter for Seattle.

The Diamondbacks selected Carrillo to the 40-man roster Saturday.

Carrillo will claim a spot on the 40-man roster after posting a 19:3 K:BB in 12.1 shutout innings across his last 10 appearances at Triple-A Reno. He'll remain at Reno for the time being, but he could be called up for his MLB debut later this year if he continues to pitch well in the hitter-friendly Pacific Coast League.

The Diamondbacks recalled Del Castillo from Triple-A Reno on Saturday.

After being sent down to Reno on July 6, Del Castillo will now return to the majors as the replacement for Lourdes Gurriel, who landed on the injured list Saturday with an adductor strain. Del Castillo has slashed just .185/.244/.311 across 164 plate appearances with Arizona this season, but he could receive some starts at DH or catcher while Gurriel is on the shelf.

The Diamondbacks placed Gurriel on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a strained right adductor.

Gurriel's injury helps to explain why he was left out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Cardinals. He'll now be ineligible to play for the D-backs until at least July 28, and the team will fill his roster spot by recalling Adrian Del Castillo from Triple-A Reno.

Robert (back) is expected to return from the injured list ahead of Monday's series opener against the Brewers, Max Goodman of NJ.com reports.

Robert has been playing in rehab games at Triple-A Syracuse since late June and has gone 8-for-26 with a homer, two RBI and five runs scored across seven contests. Despite the 28-year-old's strong performance in the minors, the Mets will give him a few more days to rehab before adding him back to the active roster. Robert likely won't step into an everyday role once he's healthy, though interim manager Andy Green said Saturday that Robert, Carson Benge and A.J. Ewing will all receive opportunities to play.

Turang was scratched from the lineup for Saturday's game against Miami due to right foot soreness, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Turang fouled a ball off his foot during Friday's victory, and although he managed to finish the game, the Brewers will hold him out of action Saturday as a precaution. Braden Shewmake will fill in as Milwaukee's second baseman and bat eighth.

Manager Pat Murphy said that Lockridge (knee) is expected to begin a rehab assignment Wednesday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Lockridge initially landed on the injured list May 9 due to a deep laceration in his right knee, and his time on the shelf was extended when he underwent arthroscopic surgery in June to address cartilage damage to the same knee. He'll presumably require an extended stint in the minors before returning to the active roster. It's worth noting that the Brewers have recently promoted top prospect Luis Lara to join Jackson Chourio, Garrett Mitchell and Sal Frelick (shoulder) in Milwaukee's outfield corps since Lockridge went on the IL, so it may be difficult for Lockridge to earn playing time with the big club once he's healthy.
