Brujan went 1-for-4 with a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-2 extra-inning win over the Angels.

After going 0-for-3 in regulation, Brujan stepped up in the 10th for the Rays. The rookie ripped his first career extra-base hit into the left-field corner to bring home Kevin Kiermaier for the game-winning run, then swiped third and added an insurance tally on a Harold Ramirez single. Brujan has started two straight games since his promotion Tuesday, one in right field and one at second base, and while he may not have the bat to be an everyday player in the long run, if he can keep contributing with his speed and versatility, Tampa Bay will find playing time for him.

Lopez went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run in Wednesday's win over Texas.

Lopez used his legs to help generate a run in the ninth inning, reaching on a single, taking part in a double-steal with Whit Merrifield and subsequently coming around to score. The theft was his first of the campaign. Lopez went 22-for-23 in stolen-base attempts last season, but he hadn't even attempted a steal in 2022 before Wednesday.

Merrifield went 3-for-4 with a solo home run, four total runs and a stolen base in a win over the Rangers on Wednesday.

Merrifield has struggled so much this season that he was dropped to the eighth spot in the order Tuesday. He responded with a single and an RBI in his first game in that position, then broke through Wednesday with his first three-hit game and first long ball of the campaign. Merrifield also notched his first stolen base since April 14. The second baseman hasn't hit any lower than .277 in any of his six big-league campaigns, so it stands to reason that he'll break out of his early-season funk at some point. His performance Wednesday may very well be the spark that gets him going.

Torres went 2-for-4 with a home run and five RBI during Wednesday's 5-3 win against Toronto.

The Yankees managed eight hits in the contest, but Torres was the lone run producer with a three-run home run in the fourth and two-run single in the sixth. The 25-year-old also went 2-for-4 with a walkoff solo homer during Game 1 of Sunday's doubleheader against the Rangers, but he was otherwise 0-for-15 over his previous five contests prior to Wednesday's multi-hit effort.

Frazier went 2-for-4 with two doubles, a walk and a run scored Wednesday against the Phillies.

Frazier tallied his seventh and eighth doubles of the season, and he came around to score in the third inning. He has recorded multi-hit performances in four of his last five games, adding in one RBI and three runs scored. Overall, Frazier has maintained a .270/.346/.377 line across 136 plate appearances on the campaign.

Andrus (shin) is starting Wednesday's game against the Tigers.

Andrus sat out the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against Detroit with a knot in his shin after he was involved in an outfield collision during the matinee. However, he'll start at shortstop and bat eighth a day later.

Mayfield will start in right field and bat seventh in Wednesday's game against the Rays, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

With Taylor Ward (hamstring) once again on the bench, Mayfield will pick up his third start in a row. The Angels are hopeful that Ward will be back in action after Thursday's off day, so Mayfield's run of regular playing time could soon come to an end.

Lowe isn't starting Wednesday against the Angels, Neil Solondz of the Rays Radio Network reports.

Lowe started in the last five games and went 4-for-17 with two homers, four doubles, four runs, two RBI and four walks. Vidal Brujan will start at the keystone and bat seventh in Wednesday's series finale.

Frazier went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Phillies.

Frazier has produced three multi-hit games in his last four starts and is reaching base at a magnificent .579 clip during that stretch. He'll remain in the lineup for Wednesday's series finale, manning second base while batting out of the leadoff spot.

Mendick is starting at second base and batting seventh in Wednesday's series finale versus the Guardians, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.

Mendick will replace Leury Garcia in the lineup, who was a late scratch. The 28-year-old was recalled from Triple-A Charlotte on May 5, going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts since his return to the big leagues.
