Rangers' Marcus Semien: Collects three hits including homer
Semien went 3-for-5 with a three-run home run in Saturday's 9-7 loss to the Angels.
Semien continues to fill in at shortstop with Corey Seager (lower leg) battling an injury. In Saturday's contest, Semien was the Rangers' best hitter and the only one to record multiple hits. The 31-year-old infielder has gone 13-for-47 (.277) in his last 11 contests. For the year, he owns a .241/.299/.402 slash line with 14 homers, 49 RBI, 55 runs scored and 18 stolen bases in 99 contests.

Luis Rengifo 3B | MIL
Angels' Luis Rengifo: Key hit, two steals in win
Rengifo went 1-for-4 with a two-run double, a walk and a pair of stolen bases in Saturday's 9-7 win over the Rangers.
Rengifo notched steals in the first and third innings after a fielder's choice and a walk, giving him a career-high five stolen bases this season. In the eighth, he added a go-ahead, two-run double to cap off the Angels' five-run rally that held up for the win. The infielder has enjoyed a terrific July, going 30-for-89 (.337) while being held hitless in only two of 23 games this month. The massive surge has his slash line up to .275/.321/.415 in 67 contests overall.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Likely headed for injured list
Estrada will likely be placed on the 7-day injured list after being hit in the head by a pitch in Saturday's game against the Cubs, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Estrada didn't lose consciousness and was able to leave the field under his own power with the help of the Giants' training staff. However, he was experiencing dizziness and trouble with his eyes after the game. As a result, he could be sidelined for a lengthy period of time. That will leave the Giants extremely shorthanded at shortstop as Brandon Crawford (knee) is also on the injured list, and Slusser reports that Donovan Walton (undisclosed) is sidelined at Triple-A Sacramento. That leaves Isan Diaz as a potential option to join the team Sunday.

Brendan Rodgers 2B | BOS
Rockies' Brendan Rodgers: Three hits, two runs in win
Rodgers went 3-for-4 with a double and two runs scored in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Dodgers.
Since July 15, Rodgers has recorded at least one hit in 11 of 12 games, with multiple hits in seven of them. The infielder has added a home run and five doubles in that span. For the season, he's slashing .278/.327/.430 with nine homers, 49 RBI, 49 runs scored, 23 doubles and two triples through 90 contests. The surge at the plate has solidified his everyday role at second base -- he's sat out just once since June 25.

Sam Haggerty LF | TEX
Mariners' Sam Haggerty: Cuts forehead
Haggerty left Saturday's game against Houston due to a cut on his forehead, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
Haggerty was frustrated by his inability to get a bunt down in the ninth inning and spiked his helmet, which bounced back up and hit him in the face. Julio Rodriguez (wrist) and Dylan Moore (back) also left Saturday's game, which could leave the Mariners with a depleted outfield in the short term.

Giants' Thairo Estrada: Exits after being hit in helmet
Estrada exited Saturday's game against the Cubs after being hit by a pitch in the helmet, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.
Estrada stayed down momentarily but was able to walk off the field accompanied by trainers. There are no further details currently available. Jason Vosler entered the game as a pinch runner in Estrada's place.

Owen Miller 2B | CHC
Guardians' Owen Miller: Exits with right forearm contusion
Miller was removed from Saturday's game against the Rays due to a right forearm contusion, Mandy Bell of MLB.com reports.
Miller was a late addition to Saturday's lineup after Josh Naylor (ankle) was scratched, but Miller was hit by a pitch in the top of the sixth inning and removed from the game in the top of the eighth. Prior to his departure, he went 1-for-2 with a run, an RBI and a strikeout. It's not yet clear whether Miller will be forced to miss additional time, but any potential absence will leave the Guardians depleted at first base.

Red Sox's Christian Arroyo: Activated, starting Saturday
Arroyo (groin) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Saturday, Chris Cotillo of The Springfield Republican reports.
Arroyo began a rehab assignment at Double-A Portland on Wednesday and went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a run, a stolen base and two walks over two games. He's starting at the keystone and batting seventh against the Brewers on Saturday and should serve as the primary second baseman while Trevor Story (hand) remains sidelined.
