Hayden Harris RP | ATL
Braves' Hayden Harris: Added to roster
Atlanta selected Harris' contract from Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday.
Harris has had a dominant season in the minors between Double-A Columbus and Gwinnett, allowing just three runs with a 73:16 K:BB over 48 innings. The 26-year-old will be making his major-league debut when/if he gets into a game.

Keegan Akin RP | BAL
Orioles' Keegan Akin: Notches fourth save
Akin earned a save against San Diego on Monday, allowing one hit and striking out one batter over a scoreless ninth inning.
Akin entered the ninth with a one-run lead and worked around a one-out single to secure the save. It was the southpaw's fourth save of the season, all of which have come since Aug. 2. Akin seems to be the primary closer for Baltimore, though he's also blown three saves over the past month and Corbin Martin and Dietrich Enns each recorded a save apiece for the Orioles in that span, so it may not be an entirely settled situation. Nonetheless, Akin has pitched well enough (3.21 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB over 14 innings spanning his past 13 outings) to be worth a pickup by fantasy managers digging for saves.

Jacob Latz RP | TEX
Rangers' Jacob Latz: Drawing another start
Latz will be the Rangers' starting pitcher for Tuesday's game in Arizona.
Latz earned another turn after allowing two runs and striking out five over 4.1 innings in a start against the Angels last week. The left-hander has made four starts and 23 relief appearances this season and pitched well in both roles, collecting a 3.13 ERA and 61:29 K:BB over 63.1 frames. With Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder) out for the season, Latz could remain in the rotation indefinitely if he pitches well.

Cam Sanders RP | PIT
Pirates' Cam Sanders: Gets call to Pittsburgh
The Pirates recalled Sanders from Triple-A Indianapolis on Monday.
Sanders was one of two additions for the Pirates with the active roster expanding to 28 men in September, as utility player Nick Yorke also received the call from Triple-A. The right-handed reliever has previously made five appearances for Pittsburgh this season, giving up five earned runs on seven hits and four walks while striking out four across five innings.

Cole Winn SP | TEX
Rangers' Cole Winn: Set for rehab outing Tuesday
Winn (hand) will throw one inning of relief in a rehab appearance for Triple-A Round Rock on Tuesday, MLB.com reports.
Winn was placed on the 15-day injured list Aug. 20 after experiencing nerve irritation in his thumb. He pitched well after being promoted from Round Rock following the All-Star break, throwing 12.2 scoreless innings out of the bullpen prior to hitting the shelf.

Kyle Backhus RP | PHI
Diamondbacks' Kyle Backhus: Unable to hold lead
Backhus allowed two runs on two hits over one-third of an inning in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning loss to Texas.
Backhus entered the top of the ninth inning to close out Arizona's 5-3 lead but couldn't convert on the opportunity. He wasn't charged with a blown save, but it felt like one. The Diamondbacks' closer spot has been in flux since losing Justin Martinez (elbow), A.J. Puk (elbow) and Kevin Ginkel (shoulder) to injury.

Jhoan Duran RP | PHI
Phillies' Jhoan Duran: Secures save Monday
Duran notched a save against the Brewers on Monday with a perfect inning of work.
Duran needed just six pitches to retire Milwaukee in order in the ninth inning. The right-handed closer has successfully converted nine of 10 save opportunities since joining Philadelphia at the trade deadline, registering a 1.69 ERA, 0.94 WHIP and 13:0 K:BB over 10.2 frames spanning 13 appearances over that stretch. Duran's save Monday was his 25th of the campaign, and he's just two shy of the career-high mark he established with Minnesota in 2023.

Juan Burgos RP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Juan Burgos: Suffers forearm injury
Burgos suffered a right forearm contusion in Monday's 7-5 extra-inning loss to the Rangers, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
Burgos was struck in the right arm by a 108.6 mph line drive off the bat of Alejandro Osuna with two outs in the top of the ninth inning, ultimately exiting the game as a result. The right-hander underwent X-rays, which came back negative, but he will undergo additional testing Tuesday.
