Abrams went 3-for-5 with a double, two stolen bases and two runs scored in Monday's 7-6 extra-inning loss to the Padres.

Abrams has posted a trio of three-hit games over his last four contests. He'd been less fortunate on the basepaths lately, going 1-for-4 on stolen base attempts over the previous five games before his two swipes Monday. The shortstop is putting together a strong breakout campaign with a .275/.325/.502 slash line, 12 home runs, 39 RBI, 47 runs scored and 13 thefts over 70 contests.

Cruz went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI in Monday's loss to the Reds.

Cruz drove in one run in the fifth inning before capping off his night with a two-run blast in the seventh. It was his 11th home run of the year, with four of those coming this month. He was stuck in a 2-for-19 skid (.105) over his previous six games since his last multi-hit performance June 16. Cruz now owns a .243/.296/.433 slash line with 34 RBI and 27 extra-base hits through 284 plate appearances.

De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with a home run, a double, three RBI and three runs scored in Monday's win over Pittsburgh.

De La Cruz scored a run after singling in the fourth inning before knocking an RBI double and scoring again in the fifth. He capped off his day with a two-run shot in the sixth. It was his 14th home run of the year and fifth of the month. De La Cruz is slashing .249/.342/.464 with 31 extra-base hits, 35 RBI and 52 runs scored this season.

Manager Brian Snitker stated that the team will probably give Arcia (head) Tuesday off, Justin Toscano of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

Arcia received fluids after leaving Monday's game due to dizziness and didn't appear to be feeling well in the clubhouse afterward, per Toscano. "Just probably dehydrated, I guess," said Snitker. "I don't know. I know they gave him fluids, so we'll probably put him down tomorrow and let him regroup and see where he's at." Zack Short would be the obvious choice for a start at shortstop Tuesday in Arcia's place.

Arcia left Monday's game against the Cardinals after experiencing dizziness.

The club notes that Arcia's removal from the matchup was only precautionary, and he's likely headed for further testing. The starting shortstop will be considered day-to-day until more information comes to light.

Neto (calf) is starting at shortstop and batting sixth for Monday's series opener against Oakland, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

Neto was removed in the fourth inning of Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Dodgers due to left calf tightness. Angels manager Ron Washington said after Saturday's game that the injury was minor, per Sam Blum of The Athletic, and Neto will end up not missing any games with the team having its off day Sunday. Neto is slashing .250/.299/.433 with 10 home runs and 32 RBI across 272 plate appearances this season.

Bichette (calf) went through a full workout Monday and remains on track for activation from the 10-day injured list when first eligible Tuesday, Kaitlyn McGrath of The Athletic reports.

Bichette's placement on the IL earlier this month with a right calf strain seemed to be precautionary more than anything else and he's slated for a minimum absence. He will resume everyday shortstop duties upon activation, pushing Isiah Kiner-Falefa back to third base.

The Guardians optioned Martinez to Triple-A Columbus on Monday.

The Guardians gave Martinez a brief look while Gabriel Arias (personal) was away from the team over the weekend while on the family medical emergency list. Arias was activated ahead of Monday's series opener in Baltimore, so Martinez will go back to Triple-A to pick up more regular playing time. He's produced a .333/.438/.550 slash line at Columbus in 2024.

Rocchio is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Orioles.

Rocchio will get a breather after he started at shortstop in each of the Guardians' last four games while going 3-for-12 with a double and a walk. Gabriel Arias (personal) was reinstated from the family medical emergency list Monday and will be thrust into the lineup immediately upon his return, replacing Rocchio at shortstop.

Moore is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays.

The versatile Moore should retain a regular spot in the Seattle lineup against left-handed pitching, but his opportunities to play against righties should take a sizable hit with Jorge Polanco (hamstring) making his return from the injured list Monday. Moore had already seen his streak of nine consecutive starts come to an end in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Marlins, when manager Scott Servais opted to move him to the bench against Miami right-hander Kyle Tyler.
